Those are the guys that I see coming to OSU. If Wells and McCoy choose to go elsewhere I shudder to think what will be said by some people.

A buddy of mine whom has connections in high school coaching as he was the D coordinator of Mainland and is from pensylvannia originally, believes Ashley is set to go to PSU.

Of course, he also believes that PSU this season is having the best recruiting class in college football in the last 20 years.

He said Tressel came in and he feels better now about the NCAA investigation and he isn't leaning anywhere at the moment. He always seems to mention the fact that we are recruiting him at DE, which he prefers. Also alot of talk about PSU. Doesn't sound great for us, but anything can happen.

Walker is scheduled to visit Penn St. this weekend. He is down to three schools: USC, tOSU, PSU. Coach Tressel was in-home last week and the Ashleys were very impressed. JT's emphasis on academics is a main selling point for the Buckeyes right now. Pete Carroll will be in next week for an in-home. Walker will not announce until Feb 2 on Fox Sports in Minneapolis.

Update. good and bad

visited Penn State this weekend, just got back about an hour ago.

Ohio State and USC were his best trips and those two and Penn State are my top ones. It's down to those three.

His leader right now is USC, then Ohio State. It's not a real big lead, but it's substancial. But it's nothing that can't be overtaken he said.

Ohio State, USC, and Penn State are all coming by this week.

Having USC out front, by any amount, is unsettling. However, seeing that PSU is a near third even being his father's alma mater shows some hope. Now if we can somehow sabotage Pete's USC-One jet and keep it on the ground we're in business.
