Somebody send Akeem a weather report. Gaithersburg, MD, Akeem's current hometown, and Columbus, OH are both on I-70, at virtually the same geographic latitude, with pretty near identical weather patterns.

I've lived in each place for over 20 years, Akeem, and if you can survive winters in Gaithersburg, you'll do just fine in Columbus. And our stadium has a closed north end, so it only receives southerly breezes. :wink2:

Rivals is reporting that Hebron has verballed to Georgia. Their database shows him as a 'soft verbal' at this point, but it looks like it's time to move on. Best of luck to Akeem with the 'Dawgs.

Published on: 05/08/07 Athens -- Disappointment followed Akeem Hebron out the door of the University of Georgia.
Being suspended from school for two alcohol-related code of conduct violations was not the way the freshman linebacker wanted to be remembered at Georgia. But right now it is all he can think of.
"I'm disappointed in myself," Hebron said Tuesday. "The whole thing has been difficult."
