Chris says he is 95% certain of his Illinois commitment. He has told the staffs from Minnesota, Northern Illinois, and Notre Dame that he is committed but he does not rule out other official or unofficial visits. Chris is recruiting teammates Isiah Williams and Ramone Johnson as well as cousin Demetrius Jones for the Illini. Jones has a 2.4 GPA and will take the ACT in June.

Scout messed up this article. Isiah is from Chicago Vocational. James, Jones, and Johnson are all Morgan Park.

James, Jones, and Williams are all friends, and they will be visiting schools together this summer (along with some other Chicagoland prospects). The 2 QB's (Williams and Jones) will not be attending the same college.
