'06 FL OLB/TE Colin McCarthy (Miami Signee)

They better put that stamp on quickly, I hear postage rates are rising agaiin.

I'm so impatient - I think we should pull together and chip in for the next day shipping. Anyone with me?

Seems to be some debate on which school McCarthy is leaning towards at this point but regardless, we will all know within the next couple of weeks. Most do not realize what a big decision this is for these young kids. There a lot of factors and each situation is different. Give him sometime and he will make the right decision for him and his family.

Of course we want the McCarthy family to take as much time as they need to make the right decision for their family. :)

I'm just saying that if we can get him palletized by 5:00PM tonight, we could get him here this week and prevent the extra Saturday delivery charges. :tongue2:

Make sure to get one with air holes and some food and water for the trip:biggrin:

See... this is why dead periods are horrible ideas in recruiting. Look at the kind of things we start talking about on recruiting boards...

Colin says all of the commitment rumors are completely false. In fact, he is waiting to see how the Miami LB situation plays out before deciding and the Canes are in the lead. He loves tOSU, but the distance from home is a factor. He did almost commit last week, but then reconsidered as the distance factor became a reality for him. He will decide after visiting Miami.

Very interesting turn of events. We all thought that OSU led, and now we find out Miami is in the drivers seat. The fact that he is waiting for their LB situation to play out is very telling...

I think hes a Hurricane now, which isnt a big deal really. Id rather have Thad, and it might possibly put us in a better position with some key in-state linebackers next year... Good luck to Colin, wherever he goes.

Sorry to hear that, but I cant blame him. Thad is a bigger get as far as I'm concerned but he's still one of the top guys left.

Hope that he realizes that the stability of OSU is a greater pull than disarray at Miami with the coaches.
