'05 PA RB/DB Justin King (Penn State signee)

Pennsylvania CB Justin King (6-0, 180, 4.4) denies a leader but favors USC, Michigan (visited) and Penn St (visited) over Florida (visited) and Ohio St.

I have a feeling in the end he ends up at Michigan, but it looks like he's really opened up his recruitment

i doubt we get this guy, although a visit couldn't hurt. but for some reason, i think he'll be a scUMer.

but wouldn't be awesome to take the recruit michigan needs the most, and add him to the deepest part of our team?

Actually, right now, given the way the 2 classes stack up, it'd be more awesome to take Grady from them (no, I don't think we have a realistic chance at that...). Hopefully we get a couple of top-notch RBs in the next 4.5 months...

Rivals Premium

King will be on an official visit to scUM this weekend. He still plans on visiting USC, Penn State and Florida. He hasn't decided if he will take a 5th visit but if he does it will be either Miami or Ohio State. He claims to have no favorite at this point.

WPIAL AAAA Roundup: King's 7 TDs boost No. 3 Gateway, 62-0

From local dispatches

Down the road from Storybook Forest, Justin King enhanced his storybook career.

King caught a 59-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Smith, then scored on runs of 64, 10 and 55 yards in a 41-0 first half. He added touchdown runs of 2, 45 and 75 yards in the second half.

King has gained 965 yards on 82 carries and scored 22 touchdowns this season, and has 3,584 yards rushing over the past four years.

I'd hate to think that we would give up on this guy until the ink dries on NLOI Day. He is just amazingly good and could probably play wherever he wants -- defense or offense. Here's hoping a great OSU season will get him off scUM and PSU and have him looking toward Columbus.

California and Florida are way too far away, Mr. and Mrs. King. Give Justin a nudge toward central Ohio, where you can watch him play in person every game as his teams regularly beat scUM and PSU on their way to National Championships.

Saturday, October 30th. The Horseshoe. JoePa and the Nittany Lions visit tOSU.

Be there Justin. You can hang with Devon Lyons, Kyle Mitchum, Jon Skinner and Rory Nicol.

It may be your last chance to see JoePa coach against tOSU.
