Jim I'm guessing that refers to the less than spectactular showing in the AA Army game. (Though in this AMW was not alone, he was pretty heavily victimized by the West's pasing game).

Just wish to re-state that AMW was coming back from an injury. In fact this week is the first time the Hamilton Basketball team has his services all year. He was on 1450 AM this evening. Getting major praise from his B-Ball coach at Hamilton and talking both on his election to go to the Vols and about his recent scholar-athlete award.

Why AMW cooled on the Buckeyes, or the Buckeyes cooled on tOSU is still -- as far as I am concerned -- an open question.

I don't think that is something to be refuted. AMW was quoted as saying we "used up" (or something to that effect) his scholly and OSU was no longer recruiting him. I may be misunderstanding the statement though.

The injury explains it... After watching the AA game I didn't know what the fuss was all about... The wr's he was going against seemed to burn him quite often... if he was injured/comming of an injury that would explain why he looked a bit rusty...
