Im gonna agree with Hubbard on this one. He looked like a better on defense imho. At RB, he had some good runs in his highlights, but some he looked a little out of place. It should be interesting either way, as he definatly is a good athlete.

According to the latest Rivals update the Buckeyes are looking at Daniels to play OLB and Ohio State leads slightly over Oklahoma.

I kinda liked his video at RB, partly because I'd like to see a back with size in this class and I thought Daniels had some skills and ran hard. I just hope we land him and find a position for him later although it appears linebacker is where he'll at least start out.

I think he's ours to lose. Although he's being looked at as an OLB by us, I'd like to see him as a Sean Taylor-like safety...6'3, 220 lbs, and 4.5 speed. With our physical training program, he could grow into a solid 235-240 pounds and get his 40 time near 4.4 seconds. Now that would be a killer safety.

Interesting that you say that. In an Insiders update Daniels mentioned he was recently fitted with contacts and last year there were times he was running away from blurs and couldn't see well at all. While I wasn't overly impressed with him at TB I thought he did have some skills. Duane is really high on him at RB so I defer to him. Sounds like a good one whether he ends up at safety, OLB, or RB.

Might explain the difficulty catching balls too. Anyway, he sounds like a good one to get regardless of what position he winds up in.

If Daniels really wants to play RB, I say the Buckeyes should at least give him the chance. After all, they were willing to give Ira Guilford the same chance, and Daniels is a much more intriguing RB prospect than Guilford was, IMO.
