Hmm I like the fact Clemson is after us so he won't commit quickly to Clemson. We have as good a shot as any but IMO

1) He's not going to GT
2) LSU and Georgia should be our main opponents in this
3) James Davis is visiting OSU and may commit.

I am truly an optimistic person, but James and Carlos are talking about playing together, and you know close our commits already are we could add two more guys that are already friends have them become friends with the rest and we could steal two very good players. I really like Thomas because he could be a great lockdown corner for us.

This Class is already great but it could turn out to amazingly great!!!!!

he does say that it is pretty much between lsu and osu. i think i read somewhere before that lsu was recruiting him as a wr, and osu primarily as a db, but he could play both ways.

saban possibly going to the nfl could help.

I think he visits in January.

This is great news! I'm a little concerned about the number of true corners (not safties) we have on the roster and verbaled. Getting Thomas would be a great get, but recruiting true CB's will still be a top priority for next year's recruiting. Along with every other position of course :)

I think with Saban talking about the NFL and it seems LSU people think he is going there it could really help. The team that scares me is UGA b/c they are his other hometown school and he visits them last, but I got the feeling he wants to go out of state, by saying GT is not the place for him.
Not to highjack the thread, but does Washington have an offer?

dont think so the coaches told them they might offer but nothing is for sure yet, my guess is he never gets one unless we end up missing out drastically on some people but even then I doubt he gets one since our WR class and DB class is pretty much set unless Carlos comes here.
