'05 GA TE Stephen Gowland (Auburn walk-on)

Insiders Premium

Gowland confirms in this update that Auburn is his leader. They have told him they want two tight ends in this class and one of the kids offered said he won't commit if the other tight end they offered commits. Tennessee has now contacted Stephen and he's going to look around. He's still considering Ohio State.

Stephen was presented with the "Lineman of the Week " award from the Touchdown Club of Atlanta at an Oct. 18th luncheon for his performance in the shutout victory over then ranked 3rd in the state Brookwood. Receiving the "Back of the Week" award was Chattahoochie linebacker and Illinois commit Travis Barr. Featured speaker was Ed Beamer, head coach at Virginia Tech.

This article confirms the recent Georgia Terp post, Auburn is the leader for Stephen but they have not offered yet.

Stephen says that he hasn't heard much from tOSU lately and doesn't know how to get ahold of them because he does not have their phone numbers. But he would still be interested in tOSU if they contacted him.
