'04 FL WR/DB Dajuan Morgan (N.C. State signee)

Good question. He says he wants to go both ways like Gamble. I like the fact he has the versatility to play a number of positions. We are deeper at wideout than we are at corner so I'd like to see him on the defensive side, especially if Fred Davis signs with the Buckeyes as expected. Finding a place for Morgan to play will be a nice problem to have. Too bad neither Rivals or the Insiders have any video on him.

We have so many kids on the team that could play on either side and Ted Ginn will be no exception. I can't wait to see Hiley in action and I still hope we add another corner or two.

This is the best blurb I've seen on him since I noticed the news on rivals and insiders. It's got an NC State Slant, but his coach has a lot of positives about him, including the fact that he went to the same High School as Devin Hester and Anthony Carter and that he's one of those once in a decade type of players that High School coaches occasionally get to coach.

He's probably only 3 star because he didn't play this year, but, like that matters. Tressel and Conley are good at this stuff, I think.

I like to see the Buckeyes get players from my area down here. I think it's great. I like to go to the HS games and sport my Buckeye gear. The kids in the stands always love telling me who all the best players are that way.

DuJuan Morgan

Somehow I get the feeling that the entire story of this young man has not been told. There is no requirement that a high school student be in the top 50% of his/her high school class for admission to the university. Further, looking at the undergraduate admissions selection process, factors such as extracurricular activities, leadership positions, diversity, etc that benefit Morgan would more than offset his "supposedly" not being in the top 50% of his high school class. With NC State involved, and this now the 3rd OSU related player (4th if you count the Buster Davis rumor that NC State and FSU were jointly involved in Buster's case) going to NC State in 2 years. Something is definitely not right here, and I have a feeling it is not OSU that is on the wrong end of this scenario.

Couldn't agree more. I'm not sure we'll ever know the whole story on why some of these things happen. I wish someone at OSU would either confirm or deny the story so we know for sure what is going on. Bucknuts is unreal right now.
