Based on observations from the spring game, Amir was consistently around the ball and displayed excellent range. Could emerge from camp as the surprise starter.
If a firing would bring about introspection that leads to fewer doughnuts eaten and more headsets worn on the sidelines, then I'd say Hoke's firing would be best for all parties.
FWIW, both Ferries & Carter were in the group photo for the SR class. I would imagine that the option to exercise the fifth year largely depends on their role this year.
