  1. Can anyone help me out?

Only problem is that I don't want to just ramble off names and numbers for 7 minutes. Even though I find all of that interesting and I think everyone else should, I have to make sure to keep people's attentions.
  2. Can anyone help me out?

Hey guys I have a project due on Wednesday for class. I am giving a presentation on Ohio State Football History... I just need to do a powerpoint and pack it with a lot of information. I'm having trouble finding good info sites. The powerpoint/speech needs to be around 5-7 minutes so I need to...
  3. Browns fans- Who do you want to draft?

I liked Greenway. But his combine numbers really disturb me. I know you don't need to run a 4.5, or rep it 30 times to be a stud linebacker. But it just doesn't look like the guy put a lot of effort into getting ready for the combine. His stock definately should drop unless he can pull...
  4. Browns fans- Who do you want to draft?

I would really like to see us trade down a few spots and pick up Bobby Carpenter at 16 or 17. I think he's definately a mid 1st rd. guy. He will be perfect for the Browns in the 3-4 system. He has the size and the speed. Also, I think he's the best linebacker in this draft not named AJ Hawk.
  5. Chad Greenway

Wow, that's not a good 40 time at all. And the bench reps are not great either. I think I would rather see the browns trade down a few spots and take Carp. He's the perfect fit for them at the OLB in the 3-4.
  6. Chad Greenway

Anyone know if he ran and worked out at the combine? If so what were his measurables and numbers? I think the Browns are seriously considering him with the 12th pick and I would like to know exactly what we're looking at. I know he had a great college career and the early Brian Urlacher...
  7. Buckeyes from your hometown/HS

From my alma mater: Lawrence Wilson Sian Cotton From my area: Chris Wells Antonio Pittman
  8. LB Bobby Carpenter (All B1G, National Champion)

If he is taken at #12 that would be awesome. He's perfect for the Browns 3-4.
  9. S Kurt Coleman (All B1G, All-American)

I just watched his highlight film and he looks great. Just curious, what were his stats? It looked like he had a lot of picks, but I wasn't sure if that was all from this season or from his entire High School career.
  10. WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

I don't think Ginn should go pro after next season. He isn't polished enough at the receiver position. He's only been playing it for the past two seasons. I think he should stay, work on his routes and everything, and then be a top 3 pick after his senior year.
  11. 2005 Alamo Bowl: Nebraska 32, Michigan 28 (final)

This can't be good for Michigan's recruiting. Losing 5 games should not help them very much. Hopefully if there are any guys who are on the brink of tOSU and scUM (Thad Gibson) will choose tOSU now.
  12. QB Antonio Henton (transfer to Ga. Southern and FT. Valley St.)

I agree. While I've never seen him in person, his profile, and his picture reminds me so much of Troy. If Henton is already 6' 2'' and 210lbs, than he is in great shape. He will probably put on 10lbs of muscle within his first year at tOSU. I hope he steps up big for us once Troy graduates.
  13. S/LB Tyler Moeller (official thread)

A.J.Hawk can defend the spread. If Tyler can put on muscle and weight without losing much speed... than I don't think there is any reason for them to put a limit on him.
  14. RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

I agree. I think that is amazing that we have two number one recruits. I just hope C. Wells has a good head on his shoulders and doesn't let this get to his head too much. Can't wait to see him in the All-American bowl. What is the date for that by the way?
  15. Let's hear everyone's M*ch*g*n jokes... (merged)

Q: Whats the difference between Ann Arbor and a Porcupine? A: Theres 100,000 pricks on the inside of Ann Arbor. ----------------------------------------------------- Q: What do you call two good looking women walking through the U of M Campus? A: Visitors...
  16. High School Cleveland Glenville Tarblooders

    Any stats from that game?
  17. #47's last game in Ohio Stadium

I think he finished with 8 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, one fumble recovery for a TD.
  18. S Donte Whitner (Official Thread)

I hope he stays. He will be our leader on defense next year. I think he needs one more year, instead of being the 5th best defensive back in Kiper's draft, why not strive to be the best DB. I do like the comparison between him and Dawkins. Both are badasses. :osu:
  19. RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

People are born with natural speed, as they are also born with natural strength. We can do things to improve both of those. Lifting weights the correct way will help to gain muscle mass and therefor make us stronger. Learning how to run properly (running in your pads, cutting, straight ahead)...
  20. 2005 Freshmen

I agree. I think Donte will be a huge playmaker next year. He will have the spotlight of tOSU defense. He's been overshawdowed this year because of the linebackers. But next year he will have all the glory. I think he's proven, and I think he can only get better. I can see him being a top 15-20...
