I have to agree with those who are concerned about TB's play.
After a whole lot of time in the system, he underthrew one ball badly and on the two picks he was late on the throw.
I have to think that he doesn't have the necessary hand/eye coordination or else the poise to perform consistently at...
IMHO, one of the good things about sports is that it gets a lot of kids exposure to education they wouldn't otherwise get.
For a lot of these kids, 50% of their peers don't graduate from high school. And the only reason they graduate is that they want to play bb in college and maybe NBA.
LBJ or...
I was trying to think of what pro qb I would compare the OSU qbs to and I came up with:
Antonio = Steve Young
Todd = Drew Bledsoe
Terrelle = Vince Young
Joe = ?
It would be a really feel-good story, and one Buckeye fans would love, if Todd would turn out to be a great QB. I just don't think it's in the cards.
The staff decided, reluctantly I'm sure, that RS wasn't going to make a BT QB. I would guess that was due to ATHLETIC ability. If RS just needed...
Illinois is weak on offense, especially against a zone. If the Bucks control Meachem, they have little perimeter scoring.
Unless the Bucks have a big case of BT opener jitters, I would expect a fairly easy win.
I would guess that the only chance for the Badgers would be to pound the ball on the ground, win big in TOP and hope the Buckeyes screw up a lot.
If that is so, my only worry is the way Penn State's OL was getting to the second level on Saturday and creating some pretty nice lanes.
In thinking...
I'm not saying he should start. I am saying I would like to see him get serious reps in the next couple games. I think he is ahead of Robbie and hey, what could it hurt? And what if Todd had to miss some time later on?
Based on their body language and some of Todd's own comments, e.g., he needed to settle down, plus the floaters he was throwing in the first half plus the ball that slipped out of his hand.
I'm guessing that AH has more
- poise, self-confidence
- ball velocity
- mobility, escapability
- threat to run
I would like to see if this is true and also if he makes good decisions.
I would think Todd knows the playbook better and probably makes better decisions right now.
I'm beginning to think that Brandon has a shot at being an all-time great at tOSU.
He is a much more powerful runner than I expected and obviously super fast.
I would think the staff is giving him some quick-cut and weight-shift exercises. If he gets a little bit better at making cuts, look out.
IMHO Antonio moved ahead of RS last Saturday.
RS has looked shaky, while AH has looked cool and in command.
The few passes AH has thrown have been crisp and on target and he has shown he is a running threat.
Plus, Todd threw a lot of balls late and without enough steam in the first half. He...
Yeah, I think I remember that Nietzche guy; IIRC, he was a linebacker for Illinois and Green Bay. I bet he would agree that defense wins more often than offense.
Those other two guys must have been before my time.:wink2:
Good Post!
OK, very good example.
But what if the occurances don't share a cause. Isn't it possible that the correlation between them could be 1?
For example, with the trillions of occurances in the universe, isn't it probable that some of them will perfectly correlate, even though there is absolutely no...
Very interesting!
But I have to ask a question: Is it possible to have a correlation of 1.0 with NO causality whatsoever?
I was under the impression that it was and you now have me unsure.
Thanks for the score.
From following on this post(can't get radio or tv), it seems like we are killing them but a lot of people are unhappy. Any insight?
