If you see my response it should make more sense. I wasn't targeting anyone on the board - I actually got pissed after reading Markos Moulitsos (sp?) and some of the other shit being tossed around (mostly twitter). Problem with today's technology is that it's like drinking like a fire hose...
I'm a bit of a music junkie and the best act I've seen ever is Neko Case at the Newport. I love the smaller venues and gosh I wish my favorite bands played smaller. I saw the Black Keys in Toledo and met the band backstage. That was pretty sweet. Dan Auerbach is cool to talk to. Patrick a...
It seems that every team we haved faced this year has moved the ball well against us. I don't think we have an answer for this. Again, no pressure on the QB.
Offensive line needs to gel. I don't care who's a senior or an upperclassmen. Play the best guys, even if they are freshman.
2 things that may help up get to the NC:
1. TP's progression at QB. Each game he seems to get a little better. We will need him to carry us in games where we once couldn't count on a less mobile qb.
2. Our defense needs to get nasty. What happened to the silver bullets of old? We are...
Great post. I think most of us are still bitter about the loss. For once I am actually going to give up my C deck tickets (this week). I am suffering from a little Buckeye fatigue and need to do a reset. I don't know if that makes me a bad fan but after going to 2 nat'l champ games and...
If Tress is playing the game of 'minimized expectations,' he's doing a good job of it. This coupled by the lackluster performance last weekend should be making the SC players doubt our chances...
Let's hope. :wink2:
I'll bet we get bumped down but considering we were picked to win by over 30 pts and were down for over half the game what can we expect?
Should be a good wake up call.
Still can't figure out why Tress tried the long ball instead of the first down early in the 4th qtr. Also, why don't we use our 6'5" QB for a sneak on a 4th and 1 situation instead of running a predictable run from the I formation. If Boeckman falls forward he gets almost a yard.
I agree with you about the First Down thing. It is pretty stupid. I wish they would bring back the guy that announced the games before the stadium renovation. He reminded me of the sage old announcer at Yankees stadium.
The White Stripes thing was pretty cool.
O8Ch, you forgot to mention...
Completely agree. Don't get your marriage started off with a sizeable ring payment because you will have other major expenses (such as a down payment on a house) to contend with.
What sucks - most women want a ring bigger than 1 carat now. Go through a broker if you want a sizable ring. Make...
I thought Hitler killed all the gypsies and homosexuals he could find....I know I read that somewhere. Anyway....Kudos to Wiesenthal. He lived a great life (and was lucky enough to die in his sleep.) Good on him.
....the night of the Texas game? I just got in from my assigment from the Isle and was lucky enought to see the Tejas game......unfortunately the Stripes were playing too. Did anyone on this board actually go see the show? Too bad they couldn't have played on Thursday or Friday instead of...
AAAAAAAAAAmen.
Not only is DM popular but he has 'groupies' that follow him from city to city sans the Dead and Phish. Now, I'll admit that I liked his first CD (who didn't, it was kinda cool) but I swear every 'freakin house party I went to my freshman year of school played that damn cd...
I followed Halen with Roth and Hagar but my interest dropped off after the Carnal Knowledge album. IMPHO I felt their music was all the same after that.....a formula if you will. I still love Fair Warning, II and Women and Children.....it was a lot rawer then. The Hagar stuff was too pop for me...
I really love Halen and would love to see them above AC/DC. I understand why they are beneath them - Van Hagar, VH III - Ugh! Did anyone on this board ever see Halen in concert when Roth was their frontman? I have an US Festival DVD from 1983 and it is truly amazing.
