  1. Game Thread BCS National Championship Game: tOSU 24, LSU 38 (final)

One last cheap and cheesy bit of advice: Let it go. Stop watching ESPN about it or reading about it or listening to the radio about it or even posting about it. Go look at the real world and get some perspective... so you can get properly ramped up next fall to do it all again.
  2. Game Thread BCS National Championship Game: tOSU 24, LSU 38 (final)

I'm just stopping by again after a long time away to see how the BP fares. Being an OU Sooner since 1960-something, I can empathize with your BCS CG woes, unfortunately. No suicides I trust? How many coaches' heads have been called for? (The OU boards have pretty much limited it to 2. :wink2...
  3. WR Dan Potokar (official thread) - post #93 fund details

IN and DONE! Prayers and blessings for the guy and his family.
  4. Some BCS facts for your SEC friends

Any thread that presents evidence to assail the mindlessly repeated dogma that "the SEC roolz CFB" is greatness, GREATNESS, I say !!!
  5. A slightly jaundiced view from an infidel in Tiger Country

There's no disputing this. I've seen Sooner fans who I wish would switch to wearing burnt orange <insert upside-down longhorn here> instead of crimson. Here's hoping for fewer idgits everywhere. But I stiil say the best LSU fans are those who have just suffered defeat! :wink2: :D
  6. A slightly jaundiced view from an infidel in Tiger Country

Actually, right up until the night just before the game, Ohio State fans will be a large majority on the streets. Most LSU fans won't show up until the last minute (and won't take hotel rooms, of course).
  7. Mark May (Blew 5 guys at Pitt)

I see Mark's as popular here as he is with Sooner fans.
  8. A slightly jaundiced view from an infidel in Tiger Country

I hope so. And spend some money, too. LSU fans are so cheap! :D
  9. A slightly jaundiced view from an infidel in Tiger Country

First, thanks for letting a newbie (to this board) start a thread. Disclaimer: I am a Sooner Born & Bred trapped in Tigerland. Though 99.2% of my friends are LSU fans, I am not. The reasons are unimportant; I just CAN NOT cheer for LSU, even though I have tried. It gives my LSU friends someone...
  10. Just Curious: What's your honest opinion of LSU?

An unsophistivated view: LSU is talented and tough, but sometimes a bit shaky on offense. Less shaky on defense, despite their late-season form. They will be well rested and essentially at home, so OSU will have to play some serious smashmouth football and NEVER QUIT, even when things look dim...
  11. LSU fan recommendations for your visit to NOLA and the game

It's actually on Poydras. ;) I like Johnny's Poor Boys in the Quarter, 511 St Louis, just off Decatur.
