There's a reason it's tough to get 2 in a row, especially now with an expanded playoffs. I didn't think we'd go all the way, but was hoping to win this one. Oh well, still an amazing season and we beat ttun with a scandal ruining their program.
Bring in McCaffey on the college kick challenge with the winner taking his spot. Couldn't really get much worse. Not recruiting the position has reared its ugly head this year, whether it is an effort failure or Fielding has the ability and just can't produce.
If anything is remotely in...
Getting our ass kicked up front and zero rush on Beck. Our offense better get it together because I'm worried that 20 points for Miami might be enough to win.
They got tired of the "speed" narrative after '02 I think. They can tell themselves we're soft all they want. Once Reese or Downs lays someone out, the play on the field will speak for itself.
My prediction is Bucks 31 - Criminals 17. Their DL is very good and we've had struggles on the OL, but I think as a whole the OL can play well enough along with some creative play calling to go away from our weaknesses. I see this as one where we pull away a little in the 2nd half.
Same here, I want to pound the pedal to the metal to start. Lean heavy on Smith and Tate even if it's obvious. Then go into the methodical time of possession approach while Miami gets desperate.
Portnoy shows how much of a clown he is more and more each day. As you said, the program and athletic department is tainted from the core. A coaching change isn't going to solve that, but if you're forced to get a new coach at least get one that stands a chance of winning.
If you want to get all the positive feels, here are some great pictures from the Dispatch. Let's run it back boys.

That's the thing, we gotta be better in the redzone against legit defenses to do the slow play on offense and I'm not too confident there. Otherwise the defense gets a lot of pressure on not giving up points if the offense takes a super long drive for only 3 points (or in several cases no points...
This was probably the best we've looked all season and really thought we were going to pull out the W. UNC looked pretty good but I think we're still figuring out our identity and the right guys to get the minutes they should be getting. This would have been really good for the tourney resume...
Rewatching The Game, I think he's primed for some big plays. We're sure as hell going to need to run the ball against them even though their defensive strength is up front. Then again, they're probably about the same as ttun's front 7 and we took care of them for the most part.
And hopefully 100% healthy, I know he will really want to show out in this game and we need him to for the W imo. I'm sure he'll be extra motivated for this one.
Great write up. Only differences I would have is a narrow pure decision for Davino, same for Mendez over Echemendia, Elam only gets a major decision at 197, and Paddy loses at 165 by decision (that one is a pure toss up to me, but he could be riding momentum from the earlier matches if we start...
That's the biggest thing I'm concerned about, our OL better watch the film from today by noon. They'll focus on doubling Jeremiah like all teams (especially Miami since he turned down their money to come here). If we neutralize their defensive front, we should have plenty of success on offense...
