Speaking of reading comprehension, if you read my profile you’d see that I’m not from Oklahoma but rather “cerca de Mexico” (near Mexico) meaning I reside in a state along the border. If you look on a map, you’d see Oklahoma does not share a border with Mexico.

Yes, you dealt with injuries too. But defense alone did not define 2019 LSU, for you had an offense that ranked among the all-time greatest.

Big XII (official thread of whining, and homely herpes-having’ hos)

In regards to the Sooners leaving for the B1G, yeah. Besides, the $EC would be a sexier option for us if we were to leave after 2025.

If that were to somehow happen and we did move to the B1G, I'd say we're more likely to bolt with Texass than oSux. At least Texass has something to offer as far as academics and it's another blueblood.

Because after watching Nebraska bolt, we saw what can happen to your primary recruiting base if you leave a conference that features teams from a talent-rich state like Texas.

That's because Alabama had 4-5 different receivers who were/will be drafted in the first round, as well as one of the best offensive lines in college football. Oh yeah, Jason White once won the Heisman on two bad knees but had help from Adrian Peterson, Mark Clayton and company. LSU had to...

OU was without their most explosive playmaker DeMarco Murray vs. Florida. Read between the lines, I said OU probably could have scored 40. Considering Chris Rix was the best throwing QB that '01 Miami faced all year, it wouldn't be farfetched to assume Sam Bradford would have had a modest game...

Texas Longhorns (big hat, no cattle; please don’t Horns Down us)

It's like a Chris Farley movie. Yes, it's aged well!

    LSU Tigers (official thread)

Well you could argue LSU's defense wasn't always great like Miami's defense, whereas Miami could not keep up in a scoring match with Ken Dorsey at quarterback. I think the problem for Miami in that matchup would be they'd have to go up against LSU's receiving corps featuring Jefferson (1st...

Texas Longhorns (big hat, no cattle; please don’t Horns Down us)

With a QB who couldn't even throw a touchdown pass against that Grinch D.

    LSU Tigers (official thread)

Granted, Miami's schedule was no where near as daunting being they were in a conference that featured Rutgers and Temple. LSU did have problems on defense until they adjusted down the stretch, where they outscored their last 3 opponents (all ranked in the top 4) by an average of four touchdowns...

    LSU Tigers (official thread)

You might want to take into account that Miami had the 22nd ranked SOS that year, while LSU's ranked 6th during their championship year. Not to mention the '01 Canes saw nothing from opposing offenses that compares to LSU's.
  13. RCSooner1974

    LSU Tigers (official thread)

It's no surprise that the 2019 Tigers were remarkably talented. I would bet they'd clobber the 2001 Canes and 1995 Huskers.

Texas Longhorns (big hat, no cattle; please don’t Horns Down us)

As a whorn hater, I'd say that's fallacious.

    2020 NFL Draft (April 23-25)

What are the odds some team reaches for Henry Ruggs III in the top 10 even with Lamb and Jeudy still available? I have a feeling we'll see an Al Davis type move in this draft.

    Oklahoma Sooners (official thread)

So many good things are on the horizon for Sooner Nation! If we land a commitment from top-ranked QB Caleb Williams for the '21 class, this program will get closer and closer to our 8th national title and beyond.

What are you currently watching on TV?

Thank God he's not a Sooner fan!!
  18. RCSooner1974

    What are you playing?

Battlefield V is the cat's ass. Much better FPS WWII game than COD WW2, especially on multiplayer.

Be safe everyone! And let us pray to the Lord that this pandemic will end soon, as well as for all the lives it has affected.

I would post the answer, but the pictures I'd post would be too graphic to be allowed on here.
