  1. Wiscy +7.5 at tOSU (ov/un 127.5) Sun 4 ET, CBS

I imagine that dealing with the high screen has been worked on every day since the team got back from Madison. Craft is fine on Taylor, he just can't take on two players who can shoot from that spot. I would put Lighty on whoever is setting the screen (I expect them to run it with different...

  3. 52 Movies You Must See Before You Die

Very good movie that never got the respect it deserved. Sergio Leone wanted to release it in two ~3 hr parts, but cut it to 229 mins for European release, where it was a hit a Cannes. The studio thought it was too long for American audiences and chopped it to 134 mins without Leone's input; it...

  5. PG Aaron Craft (B1G 6th MOY '11, Def POY '12, Acad AA, Dolomiti En. TR - Italy)

Have you ever watched a player (regardless of sport) who has all the skills and physical ability, but just doesn't get it done, and you ask, "Where's his competitive fire?" Now you know. It's in Aaron Craft.

You always have to make it about Menudo, don't you? :shake:
  7. C Dallas Lauderdale (Maine Red Claws - NBA G-League)

Gasser, who hit 3/3, is a 6'3" guard. I think you mean Brusewitz, 2/2 from 3pt, but he's only 6'6". Most of those shots came when Wisky was exploiting the screen at the top of the arc. Perhaps they should have rotated Lighty to help Craft, he's quicker than Sully and can defend tall players.
  8. 52 Movies You Must See Before You Die

I'm partial to Modern Times, still fresh and relevant some 70+ years later. With all due respect to LJB's list, I'd like to name some of the directors (not on Jeff's list) who I feel made significant and unique contributions to the history of film: Cecil B. Demille (The Ten Commandments) John...
  9. 52 Movies You Must See Before You Die

I know this is supposed to be more of a "sampler" than a ranking of great flicks, but.......Eraserhead and no Chaplin???
  10. PG Aaron Craft (B1G 6th MOY '11, Def POY '12, Acad AA, Dolomiti En. TR - Italy)

Craft was defending Taylor phenomenally until Wisky started isolating him on the high screen. I doubt anyone expected Carrot Top to start popping threes, which would explain the lack of help. Aaron was left trying on an island against two players who seemingly couldn't miss. A tough lesson, to...
  11. any guitar players here?

I can offer some advice on playing barre chords. First, don't think your index finger has to clamp down across all six strings. In both basic barre chord forms, the three strings above the root note are held down by your other fingers, so you can lessen the tension of your index behind those...

http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/1684780-post10.html Link to some good advice from scarletandgrey from the last time I had a virus. Look for "hkey" files in the local user settings. You should be able to root out the ones planted by the virus by checking the time they were created or...
  14. tOSU -1.5 at Wisconsin (ov/un 122.5) Sat 2 ET, ESPN

Good post. I was thinking along the same lines. Leuer poses a challenge with his range, I'm not sure Sully or Dallas can cover enough ground to keep him from getting open looks. Whoever is matched up with him will need some help at times, but OSU can't afford to let other players get free shots...
  15. C Dallas Lauderdale (Maine Red Claws - NBA G-League)

That's what I meant by "almost" the greatest dunk. If he made that, it would have been part of every NCAA Tourney montage since.
  16. Big Ten Basketball Thread

That's an epic choke job, even by Tisdale's standards. Now they'll never tell him where the weight room is.
  17. C Dallas Lauderdale (Maine Red Claws - NBA G-League)

It would be better during the day? Love Sully's expression in the background. Reminds me of my favorite Buckeye BBall pic of what was almost the greatest dunk of all time. The look on Lighty's face is priceless, as well as the guys on the bench.
  18. SF William Buford - 4 BTT Title Games, most Buckeye starts (Virtus Roma - Italy)

Props to WB for getting the ball rolling in a big game. When his shot is on, it's one of the best I've seen. I still think he can be an 18-20 ppg guy. He deserves some credit for running the point to start games, he's handled that responsibility very well.
  19. PG Aaron Craft (B1G 6th MOY '11, Def POY '12, Acad AA, Dolomiti En. TR - Italy)

Yeah, I'm halfway thru the 2nd half of the rewatch, Craft is the best player on the floor. All the Buckeyes played well, but Craft was literally all over the court. Loved how aggressive he was running down the court, holding his defender off with his shoulder. He straight-up embarrassed J...
