  1. Ohio State at Minnesota Jan 3 at 12 noon

Lighty has nothing to do with the PG position. Turner, even though he'll probably commit as many TOs as Hill or Simmons, at least brings playmaking ability to the table.
  2. Ohio State at Minnesota Jan 3 at 12 noon

I do think we need to try something new with regards to PG. It's painfully obvious that neither Simmons nor Hill are viable options at this point in time. They just can't handle full time PG duty. They can't handle a press, they take bad shots, and neither has shown any ability to create for others.
  3. Ohio State at Minnesota Jan 3 at 12 noon

Great fight by the buckeyes. Hopefully this game teaches them how important it is to be consistent.
  4. Ohio State at Minnesota Jan 3 at 12 noon

One thing I've noticed this game more than any other is that we're really slow at making passes, and that just kills you against the zone because it allows them to recover. If we make passes a half second faster we'd be getting the open looks Minnesota is getting. Edit: The most discouraging...
  5. Ohio State at Minnesota Jan 3 at 12 noon

Put Turner at the point. Can't be worse than what we're getting now.
  6. Ohio State at Minnesota Jan 3 at 12 noon

That may have been one of the worst shots I've ever seen a player take.
  7. Ohio State at Minnesota Jan 3 at 12 noon

We're giving up way too many open threes. We need to shore that up before we play some athletic teams. Our offense, when ran properly, can be pretty good. The problem of course is that we're so inconsistent, and the bad passes and bad shots compound things. These final few minutes and the...
  8. PG P.J. Hill (BK JEKABPILS- Latvia)

The one thing you know you'll get with PJ is intense, full bore play. He's not going to half-ass it out on the court
  9. West Virginia 76, Ohio State 48 (Final)

Players shouldn't need to be motivated by a coach.
  10. West Virginia 76, Ohio State 48 (Final)

Talent doesn't mean a whole lot when you have injuries and a lot of inexperience.
  11. West Virginia 76, Ohio State 48 (Final)

    Are you serious?
  12. West Virginia 76, Ohio State 48 (Final)

EVERYONE on the team looks sluggish and a step slow. No one is playing with any intensity or urgency it seems like.
  13. West Virginia 76, Ohio State 48 (Final)

When we're struggling to score, no player on the team should be taking shots like Simmons just took. Just a horrible decision right there.
  14. West Virginia 76, Ohio State 48 (Final)

Mullens getting the ball(he's been open like that at least three times THIS HALF) equals good things happening.
  15. West Virginia 76, Ohio State 48 (Final)

We're just not doing anything right now. Someone needs to step up. Where has Turner been all game? Also, can we PLEASE start giving Mullens the ball. It's not like he hasn't been open numerous times.
  16. West Virginia 76, Ohio State 48 (Final)

Another thing I've noticed is the poor ball movement. We're dribbling to try and beat the zone when we should be passing to beat it. You'd figure we'd know this considering we're a zone team and all.
  17. West Virginia 76, Ohio State 48 (Final)

We are just a BAD shooting team all around. Our defense needs to keep this game close and lets hope the shots start falling or we start feeding Mullens/Lauderdale every possession.
  18. '09 VA OL Morgan Moses (Virginia Signee)

Now when he/you say "class room", are you talking about the number of scholarships available or grades? Both? The wording of that confused me a bit.
  19. Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

The Cavs looked pretty good tonight considering the quality of opponent. I thought our defensive rotation was slow at times and that lead to quite a few open looks for Houston. But other than that, solid performance all around.
  20. Ohio State 83 UNC Asheville 59 (Final)

You can tell this is a young team with how up and down we can be when it comes to consistency. This team is going to cause a lot of happiness and some occasional sadness throughout the year, though thankfully there should be more up times than there will be down times. Too much talent on this...
