I know Simmons has had a rough game but if Minn is guarding us like this he needs to be in so they at least have to respect him. PJ Hill is not going to hit any shots.

One thing I've noticed this game more than any other is that we're really slow at making passes, and that just kills you against the zone because it allows them to recover. If we make passes a half second faster we'd be getting the open looks Minnesota is getting.
Edit: The most discouraging thing though is that while Minnesota is playing good defense, they're hardly playing stiffling defense. It's not like the open looks aren't there. We're just not hitting them, or, we're not getting a chance to because of bad decisions or bad fundamentals(stepping out of bounds, traveling, bad passes, etc...).

12 turnovers to only 6 assists. We've seen those kind of numbers before, and we'll keep seeing them unless our PG play improves.
We miss Jamar Butler more than anyone from last year, by far.
Senior PG Mike Conley sure would've been nice.
