Huh? What are you talking about? We're 4-2 3-3 (thanks, Jaxbuck, I misread a score) against Notre Dame since 1997.
Actually, I was referring to MSU hating Michigan. I'm a grad student there.
I agree that we're overrated. But who are we going to lose to early that we shouldn't? If by early you mean nonconference, the only one with a chance is Notre Dame, and we have them at home this year. Do you really think they're likely to beat us?
The only "early" game I can see us losing...
FYI, there is no better forum on in the world than AVSForum for discussing this stuff. I learned just about everything I know about home theater from there.
Yes. The most common way nowadays is to use a HTPC (home theater computer) to record the shows, then encode them and burn them. This is...
What stands out to me is the density of quality recruits so far for both Ohio State and Michigan. OSU (7 total recruits) has as many Top 100 recruits as Texas (22), and Michigan (6) is tied for third with Georgia (13). We've got the (loaded this year) state of Ohio to thank. 8/10 of our Top...
I'd just like to point out that Breaston was injured most of last year. The Rose bowl was one of the few games he was 100% last year. Sure, we may overhype him, but he does have a valid excuse.
As for the topic, "Michigan sucks":
And that puts us in the middle of the pack, exactly like I said. Calling us the bottom of the Big 10 is hyperbole.
I'm not jaed1342. I know our secondary isn't great. It should, however, be passable (no pun intended :D).
He's certainly been disappointing, but in fairness, he hasn't had all...
We are in good condition for Rolle, Hornsby, and Mays, who are all Rivals 5 star players, and Dickerson, a 4 star. There's a very reasonable chance we get one of those guys, too. If we only got two of these six, our DB class would be very good, and if we (very unlikely) got 3, the class would...
What I like is that an upper deck should help hold sound in, as should the new box seating. It'll be nice to have a stadium that's not unnaturally quiet, like it is now.
That's an interesting perspective I'd never thought about. Certainly helps me understand many OSU fans' vehemence concerning Michigan. :D
Sounds similar to how MSU fans feel about non-alumni, Lansing area folk who cheer for MSU in basketball and U of M in football. I can understand not...
I've nothing but respect for OSU, and cheer for you much the same I do any other Big 10 team. The only teams I like to see fail are Miami, Florida State, and Notre Dame. Most the morons you see posting crap like Tre$$el are just high schoolers, I'd expect.
Why is this pathetic? Should...
That's right. We'll be looking primarily for just one offensive tackle now. We don't really have a chance with Brown. We'd love to land Smith, but beyond him and Sam Young we aren't really going to be competing with OSU anymore this year over linemen.
Can't say I disagree with either of you. Firefox isn't the panacea that the blogs make it out to be. Popup blocking and tab browsing (via myIE) are both available in IE now anyway.
Since you've obviously seen and dismissed the standard hype, let me mention some less-known but still...
What does porn have to do with the usefulness of Firefox extensions?
Without a doubt. Either browser works fine for newbies, especially with MS Antispyware installed. In my opinion, it's the more experienced users that benefit the most from Firefox.
For the record, a lot of us don't really care about the supposed security differences, one way or another(although I do like the added control I have over which cookies to accept). I use it for the wonderful extensions, like the ones that add mouse gestures and tie-ins to BugMeNot.com. For a...
1) We only lost one starting lineman, Baas. Our second best lineman was Jake Long, a redshirt freshman. Besides Baas, the other four return, so we'll be as much, if not more, of a veteran OL than we were last year.
2) Between Henne's year of experience and Breaston and Avant's health, we...
Hart is considered Heisman caliber by the media simply because he had comparable numbers to Adrian Peterson last year. This guy isn't going to be the last person to put Hart on the short list for the Heisman, either. The media is lazy and doesn't follow Michigan like anyone here, so they don't...
