I literally feel like I'm gonna explode with joy. Haven't had that feeling since the birth of my kids.
The thing that struck me most was the number of high draft picks we have playing on defense. It was something I thought about before, but last night just validated that.
Got damn it feel good...
Pretty Obvious OSU will move on from Harris now. We have bigger needs, and Weber could easily calm into the top 50 with a good showing at the Army game.
I don't think this is a case of not being asked but I could be wrong. This leave OSU pretty thin at DT next season. Plus Carter has flashed from time to time.
I think a grad transfer is probably the best move. At the same though I just don't see him transferring. Don't see Braxton leaving his son or taking him very far from home.
I wouldn't mind seeing Miller make the move to RB. Outside of his injuries, he has everything you want for a running back.
We don't know if his shoulder will ever be the same, and this is probably his best shot at being taken high in the draft.
He's so good in the designed QB run game, I...
The throws JT shorted were not due to his arm. They were routine throws. The pressure in his, and not settling his feet cause the under throws. If he couldn't throw it 35 yards down field he won't be on scholarship.
The play calling was a little conservative even in the first half, IMO. I don't think it really allowed JT to settle in throwing the rock. The second half INT really rattled JT, which is understandable.
I think the conservative play calling is a trend with Herman on the road. All that said...
I'd like to add, I think Apple has played pretty well this year. A young CB, starting, and having to in a completely different scheme then he was taught his freshmen year.
He's given up some yards in some games, but he's also been physical. Which is something your corners have to be is you...
Sometimes the other team makes plays too. Also, you can't want OSU to play press/physical/man coverage and expect not to draw PI calls on some deep balls.
Personally I prefer it to giving up 60 on screen plays, or watching how soft they played last year.
