Per Detriot FreeP, Nick Perry has eliminated MSU.
He will choose between Da U, UM, and USC (really, between UM and USC).
Tough day for Sparty (aka, Little Brother)... lost Mark Ingram to Alabama and Patrick Omameh to UM.
FWIW... In a very odd fashion, UM actually hasn't finished their recruiting class prior to signing day.
There are already 2 expected commits for UM today (can't post the names yet) plus Nick Perry deciding between UM and USC.
Outside possibility for up to 5 commits (excluding Pryor) today.
FWIW... Have been told that UM offered Trottwood WR Roy Roundtree tonight. If UM offers Britt tomorrow, they like get Britt and Roundtree... maybe Shaw.
Unconfirmed by the major networks but from someone that would "know".
I wouldn't go that far. I know what you're talking about, but I'm pretty sure UM has lowered its standards to the NCAA minimum. So, if he can't get into UM, he can't get into USC or MSU.
FWIW... he got a 16 on the 1st ACT he took. He left UM during his official visit on Saturday, 26JAN to...
If I were a betting man, I'd think the OSU offer came after Omameh committed.
Omameh committed to UM, at the latest, around noon.... so if OSU offered before noon, he didn't care... if OSU offered after, he's got something to think about.
Or does he?
Right, just to add what I've heard on RS.
He does like UT. However, UT will have a decision on their hands on which QB they want to offer with the '09 class. There is another top prospect (name escapes me) from Austin. He's more of a dropback passer though. Will be interesting to see where...
My bad... got my "gazettes" mixed up. And, to clear the airspace, lots of MI newspapers have been critical of RR. Look no further than the AA News' writer Carty (first name escapes me).
Also, I'm not saying RR is innocent. Truth is always somewhere in between. He must pay WVU something and...
Wow
At some point, the Post-Gazette will have to write articles about something other than RR right? I mean, seriously?
I won't say RR is innocent here, but doesn't anyone else find it funny that the Gazette writes two articles a week on RR... and no one else really makes a big deal about it...
No.

"Montour running back Christian Wilson, who decommitted from Michigan two weeks ago, says he will sign with Boston College or North Carolina on Wednesday, which is National Letter of Intent day.
Wilson verbally...
IIRC, T-Rob didn't get too much exposure as a JR. This year though a couple of things happened: 1) he blew up 2) McGuffie got hurt.
T-Rob was the All-Area MVP (Houston). Can't be terrible.
Definitely undersized for a RB, but good for the slot-WR position... which he was recruited to play.
