Look, I don't believe that OSU will have a problem getting to 82. It's not weird that more guys will leave. What's weird is the number with Jaamal Berry that has players that left that isn't publicly acknowledged. If you're going to give a number that includes other losses that aren't named why...
What's interesting though is the 83 is being quoted with Jaamal Berry as part of the class. There has been no more public discussion on any possible non returnees than Berry. It's just kind of weird. That's 2 players off my count that being assumed as not part of the team with not very public...
This has me confused. I've been tracking and I've got 83 without Berry.

OSU: 4392
Any one of Dodson, Diggs, or Neal would make up the difference and then some.
I guess I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who still wishes to see scUM success? Not I. But it's not only that. Their meltdowns lately have been epic. If Diamond goes elsewhere to it might be a nuclear meltdown. This question is almost a given but this one would be extra fun.
100% with you. Stonum was the only guy that was likely to take over Hemingway's jump ball catching. They don't won against ND or VT without him. Someone else too.
Is it appropriate to ask who everyone would prefer if they could have only one of Neal or Caleb?
I think they are totally different players so I would prefer Neal because he fits a role that current team doesn't have much of while Caleb seems to be more in the same role as Spencer and Smith as...
I don't think we are far in disagreement. I just see 5 as really the upper limit. To get there 7 transfers, medicals and commit switches have to happen. To get 7 more in this class means 9. Which sounds like a lot.
I'm with you, which is why I didn't name names but every other possible 5th year senior received plenty of snaps with either the offensive of defensive side of the ball when the game was still in doubt.
3 medicals in one year sounds extremely high to me. I know the names being mentioned, but they were talked about last year too and it didn't happen.
I can find one guy who might not get a 5th year and he was on the field on special teams and in the Michigan game so that's probably a stretch...
I agree, but 2 transfers or medicals from the current roster plus all committed recruits gives OSU 82. 5 more sounds like about the limit. I have a really hard time finding 7.
You must be holding information that says some players have left that isn't yet public knowledge.
The count of current players on the roster who aren't seniors and aren't likely to receive a redshirt to stay is 65 + 19 = 84.
That count includes Nathan Williams, Melvin Fellows and Jaamal...
This shouldn't be construed as evidence for or against, but reading the Sandusky thread, I find it interesting that many people, some of whom I remember not having a supernatural worldview, seem to believe the justice of our court system and death itself is not justice enough for those involved.
