The nature of our attack completely changed when Buddle came in. That guy is a player. It may just be that he was fresh, and he added an extra attacker (in which case props to Bradley for making the move), but he was in on every play. I can't wait to see who we get in the round...
I'm not sure there can be a tie for second place assuming we win our next match. If we win, we are in. (I tried to go through all the scenarios, so I may have missed something but I don't think I did)
Nevermind, I guess an england/slovenia tie would give us all 5 points (assuming england...
the sad thing is that neither bradley or our players know what the call was. if it was offsides, that is a joke because he was ten yards behind the play, and the side judge didn't raise his flag. if it was a foul, then that is anti american bias plain and simple. either way that ass hat needs...
North Korea cracks me up. They paid Chinese people to go to the game and wear Korean gear. Heaven forbid you actually let your people out of the country to go watch a game.
Just completed a long weekend of golf in Chicago. We played George Dunn on Friday, 36 at prarie landing on Saturday, and 18 at Balmoral Woods on Sunday. It was a Ryder Cup style gathering of 24 guys. It was a great time, and team Ohio brought home the trophy! THEWOOD and I went 3-0 in our...
if machines were officiating sporting events, i would agree. i think we have all watched enough sports to know that officials skew their calls all the time. big ten basketball calls going to the home team, players like Kobe and MJ getting calls that second tier players don't, good pitchers...
What he saw was a play that was very close. In that situation you give the benefit of the doubt to the pitcher. He earned it. I'm not saying you call him out no matter what.
If you are saying that good officials don't skew close calls depending on the situation, then there are no good...
No one has brought up this point yet;
At that point in the game, why would the pitcher not get the benefit of the doubt? If I were umping that game, the thought of calling that guy safe wouldn't have even crossed my mind on a close play. You can tell it was a close call in his mind because...
J Rich fell asleep on that play. Artest should have never been able to come from where he did to make that play. Too bad Kobe's shot didn't travel about a foot further. If that hits the rim, he doesn't get the rebound.
I find it funny that teams can bust up the OSU zone, but the Lakers have no clue what to do with the Suns zone (actually our zone is pretty good, but i needed a comparison). Hopefully they don't figure it out, and we take it with us to the Finals. On another note, how long before the Suns...
