I still vote to hold out for Notre Dame. It's just too perfect of a fit and is THE slam dunk expansion move as has as been previously discussed. No need to reach for teams just yet, thats just irrational... especially Vandy, when the hell did this talk start coming? We don't need another Indiana...
I'll stand by my original belief that Notre Dame is the best option for 1 additional team, but I also still really want Texas to join, so here I guess would by my dream scenarios:
1 Team: Notre Dame
3 Teams: Notre Dame, Texas, Texas A&M (I guess we'd have to)
5 Teams: Notre Dame, Texas...
Honestly, the PS3 online play is not that bad at all and I'd much rather deal with the very few times I get kicked off and the minor lag here and there than dish out $50 a year. But whatever this thread isn't about which consoles better... its about splinter cell, the game looks sweet, but I'll...
Yup, May 18th is when this game will come out, it was originally going to come out late 2009, but got pushed back.
Also, I'll be getting this game on PS3 too.
I'm a bit surprised to see that there hasn't been a thread created for this game. This is the sequel to Red Dead Revolver, but its set in 1911 and looks a million times better. It's a sandbox free-roaming old western game that comes from Rockstar, the makers of Grand Theft Auto, so basically...
pfft Dodd sucks, he named the Big 16 conferences, Schembechler Division and Grange Division... what the fuck? If you're going to use Schembechler then you have to use Woody Hayes as well, it just doesn't make sense to use Red Grange with Bo. If you want to use Red Grange then you should use Chic...
I don't really think there's much of an argument between Beanie and MoC... I'll take Beanie hands down every game if I had to pick between the two of them. Both had amazing vision, power, and game breaking capabilities, Clarett had better cutting ability, but Beanie was much tougher than Clarett...
I understand your argument and I agree that the article is wrong in stating that we need someone such as Texas to "vault" us back into the elite status of both football and basketball... but in a different context, Texas certainly "vaults" us into being even more elite than we already are, as...
Let's face it though, the 2007 title game was pretty much a sham, Ohio State didn't deserve to be in that game, but LSU definitely didn't deserve to be there. USC/Georgia should have been the game.
Circle back around to my original point. How do we know the sec is stronger, when they don't play anyone out of conference except for Sun Belt, Conference USA, and D1AA schools. They load up a cupcake out of conference schedule, and by week 4/5 they have 6 or 7 teams undefeated (from beating...
Yessir, except I don't believe I wrote 5000 words in my rebuttal, and again make sure you lighten up once in a while and check out The Hangover, it's a funny movie. Except, judging from this convo with you, you might be the type of person who sits there watching a movie and says, "pfft, that...
Ughhh, no my argument was not that florida's titles aren't all that great because they play cupcakes, winning a national title is winning a national title. I'm simply pointing out that florida doesn't challenge themselves at all during out of conference games.
Additionally, yes everyone plays...
