SC & Davis
According to Bill Conley, Fred Davis was all-but-lost to the Bucks during summer of his senior season and the door was wide open for his SC recruitment. It's reasonable to assume that SC coaches had plenty of time to get Davis through all early enrollment protocols and into classes...
That may be true, but...
there's a definite protocol for early enrollment at OSU and CW seems to be following it. Maybe Petey can influence the process at SC, but I don't think he can change a semester system into a quarter one. The quarter system at OSU is an important difference between...
I'm with you, Jeffcat
Santonio is an exceptional athlete, a great team player and a loyal Buckeye. The decision he is going to have to make will not be easy for him... Just the idea that Santonio hasn't ruled out a return for next season gives me a lot of satisfaction....It's a good example...
After seeing Jerry Lucas included in Charley Rosen's list of underrated NBA players (http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/3885926?GT1=7409) and reading comments at BN by some younger Buckeye posters, I thought it might be a real Buckeye blast from the past if.....
Channel 4 aired some BB TV...
Not to be overly argumentative, Sober....but one could say that Modell was the primary architect of the Browns for almost 40 years. I wonder what Bernie K. would say about the whole thing.
Sober, Modell needed more than a new stadium. He was a lousy investor and needed an influx of megabucks to bail him out of financial quicksand. Attendance and TV ratings for the "old" Browns were near the top of the NFL.....
I'm a serious Ohioan, buckeyegrad....and I want the best for the Buckeye state. I'm elated that your physical and psychological health has improved with a move to Summit County. No one would disagree that living/working in a s***-hole presents grave health hazards. The city of Cleveland has...
Pepsid doesn't work anymore
I've been a Browns' fan for more than 40 years, but I can no longer stomach the seemingly endless Sunday afternoon meltdowns. Acid reflux is getting the upperhand just about every week. I know I can't speak for every Browns' fan, but from one who is long-suffering...
Weis....Buckeyes?
Good for Weis. I hope he invests well, loses about 80 pounds, and has a serene, uneventful tenure in northwestern Indiana. This thread should be moved to Open Discussion. :gobucks1: :gobucks2:
Congrats on the season
Even though they were nudged out of the playoffs, the Lancers had a great season. Congrats, Lancers and Coach Grippa:gobucks1: :gobucks2:
Holy Tomato Paste
That dubious distinction has to go The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Lots of squishy action with seeds flying everywhere....but no pasta kitchen to heighten the suspense.
I hope you enjoy school, do well in the classroom, and earn a degree, Aaron. I don't care a hokie's hiney what you do on the gridiron, though....unless you're lined up against the silver bullets. Go Bucks!
Congrats, Grant and dad Brian....and "good move," JT! Like many other Buckeye fans, I can stop stratching my head in disappointing amazement now. Hope the JT phone call goes well and we can all celebrate very soon.....Please keep us posted, laguna. Go Grant! Go Brian! Go Bucks!
Greatest Ever What?
I guess you mean CF coach.....I'd have a career record like JoePa if I had toyed on the turf with Temple and the Little Sisters of the Poor for 30 years. :gobucks1: :gobucks2:
