I noticed in Omaha's post about the Scarlet fever or whatever they are calling it that Nationwide is sponsoring Scarlet Rally Towels for the first 80,000. What? Really? You couldn't spring for the other 25,000? Damn vBanking Crisis is ruining everything.
I agree, those penalties are a product of intensity. There is a fine line between playing intense and playing out of control. We continualy crossed that line in last years NC Game. That doesn't make us a dirty team any more than that video makes LSU a dirty team.
Agreed, there was certainly some cause for concern before now, but after all this was a team that started 11-0 and was ranked #2 in the country before it shit the bed the last two games of the 2006 season. In just 22 months this team has gone from that to being a team that can't beat a 1 win MAC...
Agreed, I have watched it multiple times and honestly can't believe how blatant it appears. Check Vegas and the Referee's bank account. But if the QB had SEC speed he should have blown right around that old timer. The real concern here is the Ole' Ball Coaches inability to recruit that SEC...
I just wonder if they would look at it in the sense that the damage being done in recruiting and the national perception would outweigh the damage to their wallet? Do you save face at any cost?
Here's to hoping this scenario plays out and we are enjoying another torture of a season for scUM at...
scUM got themselves in WAY too deep financially with RR but how much of this will they take? I mean barring some type of miracle this is going to be a bad team next year. Granted you have a QB coming in that is a fit for your offense but he is after all a true freshman, and his initials are not...
I think they have the young talent to sustain a stretch of success but history has taught us that in the AL East you better be willing to spend money. You know the bastards in NY and our Sox will both go out and find pitchers and hitters that can confound the Rays, or anyone else who rises up in...
Have to agree, that day off I think helped the Sox regroup and gave the Indians too much time to think about what they were on the verge of accomplishing. To this day I don't understand that day off, i'm glad it was there, but I don't understand it.
It's 1:47 AM and scUM and the Yankess still...
I wouldn't say that your Tribe choked it away last year though, Beckett pitched a gem in game 5 in Cleveland last year. I felt the Indians played well that entire series, but if this one goes to the Sox after the Rays were 7 outs away and up by 7 runs and then they lose the last 2 at home, it...
The level that MJ has played at these last 3 games is absurd. The entire defense has fed off of his energy. Makes me think back to Doss and what his presence meant to the rest of the unit. Hands down the best DB in the country right now, and it's not even close.
Just when I think I have seen it all when it comes to the Sox, they are on the brink of amazing me once again.
Puts me in the mood for a song

When I first read of his passing the first thing that came to mind was the scene in "The Rivalry" when Chris talks about telling his father he would like to go play for TSUN, and his fathers response was "you traitor, I'll tell you where your going, right down 71 and play for Ohio State"
I...
He is too busy selling the naming rights to the final game of the season. For your information it will now be refered to as "The big, huge, large, supercollasal, battle of the midwest, November Classic formally known as the Greatest Rivalry in all of Sports, tOSU vs. scUM.
That guy would sell...
Stoops has just never struck me as having tOSU as a dream job, Meyer certainly has. I am just glad that this is a question we only have to worry about answering in the hypothetical world.
Dantonio is intriguing, and as far as Meyer goes I worked with Urban's high school secondary coach for nine years. They have remained very close friends and he has gone to visit Meyer every year since Utah. Meyer has had an out clause in every contract he has ever had for the head coaching job...
