From other articles have read, seems like the legal thing is gone, but 'playing condition' is the issue. Wonder if he was banned from the workout facilities as well, or simply didn't run on his own, etc. Yeah, need him back.
The above posts should be on Joel Klatt or Josh Pate. Makes me want to put vcash on the Buckeyes. Hope our guys don't read these, they won't get psyched up for the game. When Saban and Joey Sweetwater start touting the Tennessee guys, (SEC, because it just means more), I'll relax, or maybe...
Glad to have you back, LJB. Very concise, erudite, and pithy comments. You've taken a whole bunch of threads, and braided them together nicely. Thanks once again. Go Bucks! Do believe that the upper tiers will continue to 'mine' the lesser leagues, and snarffle up some of the kids that were...
So we're saying, elevate Hartline to HC, demote Day to OC, demote Chip to OL coach, and get rid of Frye? Looks feasible, no? Might make tOSU stronger. And here I was hoping that Harline was interviewing to brush up on his interview skills. Always took a couple of 'trys' before interviewed...
Sounds like Ryan utililizes asst coaches as one is supposed to. Also sounds like he is knowledgeable on 'what to do' for each wrestler in a match. Do see him being very verbal and engaged during matches. Thanks for the info, RB.
Hopefully, the Vegas tournament is a window into the Nationals....Buckeyes showed well, but still room to improve, am thinking. Certainly gives Ryan teaching directions. Does tOSU have (how many?) assistants to work with the various weight classes? Not knowledgeable enough, for certain, but...
Along the lines of Gilbert being a 5* vagabond, sounds like an attitude issue as well. The old 'play me or trade me' line has come back in force to today's game. tOSU HAS taken Ohio OL (mostly to fill out numbers), and they languish on the pine. Lack of development, or just not having it...
Still ambivalent on the issue. tOSU still getting good DLs because of LJ's rep, and it appears that the DL is performing well. IF LJ goes, getting a top-flight replacement (nationwide) is key, along with keeping the DL assistant (or so I believe), and not letting Knowles bring in a B12 buddy...
Tennessee has some great corners, so I've read. Gotcha, check that box. However, do believe that tOSU has more, and better WRs than the SEC team has DBs. If I may connect the dots, it may not be our #1 and #2 receivers that shine, but our #3 and #4 guys left alone against a S that get the job...
A la Colorado/Deon. This 'one-year' try-out thing is pretty much what I hear you saying, from a NIL standpoint. Colorado has many transfers out, and equal number of transfers in, I believe. That seems to be the way Deon is playing the game. Part of me likes that, in that if a guy's hype...
We did the TSA thing in 2017 for cruise in Europe, and worked wonderfully. Had to go to LAX for interviews and got OKed quickly, as some of you above. With the advent of credit cards paying for this thing, would imagine that the lines have gotten longer, and the interview is a thing of the...
Good stuff Dub. Moved to California after college. Introduced to Mexican foods, and enjoyed. Came back to C'bus for grad school, and mom had gone to the old roller rink, made into a international grocery store (right across Lane and St. Johns), and bought tortillas, so I could make her a...
Heck, I'd take an OT like in "The Blind Side" where he drives the DL outa the park. Gimme five of those. PS, would opine that the NIL guys give Day & Co a number (bucks in the bank), and say, here it is. In other words, they give tOSU the size of the pie, and Day & Co divide the pieces...
Offord's shoe might be a limited edition (as in few made). Normal marketing 'pull' is to have an established star with his/her name on the shoe, which creates demand. (or so I've been taught). But an untried newbie, well, just don't see the draw outside of family and friends. Maybe the...
Good catch DZ. Yeah, you're right, and I'm wrong. Don't have my 'number' scorecard, and tOSU doesn't print names on the back of away jerseys. Still thought it was a good post though....Go Bucks!
Well, Ryan, you might want to add/consider that one's gotta take that depth, and prepare them to step in at anytime. If you look at the roster, tOSU has plenty of depth. When a 'project' is taken, doesn't that delay the 2-3 years that it takes to make a mature OLer? While tOSU might save NIL...
