I suppose we could make room for him. Jokes aside, He looks incredible. He is ranked 32 and Clark is ranked 57 but the difference is quite stark.
I am of the opinion we take a big in 2020 (Hugley, Loveday, a human) and then take swings at high ranked wings such as Johnson, Morton, or Clark. If...
Did you guys factor in the possibility that Holtmann might transfer?
I imagine that last scholarship goes to Danny Hummer or in the unlikely scenario that Roderick walks on, he could get a one year scholarship.
Barttorvik's early analytics has us at #24

Personally think it will depend on our ability to spread the court with shooting. Kaleb is going to be dominant despite the fact that some fans want him gone. I think high teens to twenties is a fair estimate.
Yeah, hard to say who at this point considering how young Holtmann is in his career. Would not be surprised if Michael Lewis, former Nebraska assistant, gets a call considering their relationship at Butler. Lewis has had his name floated for HC jobs in the past year.
With all that said, Netti...
Seth Towns would be a great add if he becomes available. I noticed he didn't log any minutes last year due to injury.
While we are speculating, What about Jordan Brown from Nevada? High recruit who got minimal time his freshman year. He will be one of two players returning to the team (!!!!!)...
I honestly think if you are anti-Diallo you should be happy with Giddens. Will be better than Diallo next season and does not take future scholarships for Loveday or Hugley.
I personally think we should be giving Hugley more of look anyways. He is a good athlete for his size who make a fine...
I agree with both you. Why take a wing who isn't efficient on a low major at this juncture. My assumption is there might be a feeling that they may as well try fill an open spot and want to have as many options as possible for that spot.
I would argue that shooting is more important than size...
His fluidity with his length makes an incredibly interesting long-term project. The question is if we need to stay big with Kaleb in foul trouble can he buy us 5-10 minutes? He really resembles the big archetype big that Syracuse typically goes after.
Also I sorta of doubt that 7'9 wingspan...
Really hoping Ledee sticks it out but I personally don't see it. The roster situation does not look great for him and he is quite far from home. Speculative but he appeared to be disengaged on the bench the last few games.
I think the kid has great potential and wish him luck either way.
Almost invariably Coach Holtmann will give minutes to players that are solid defensively regardless of their offensive ability.
I am of the opinion that Ahrens and Washington are two of the most important pieces moving forward into next season. We absolutely need them to be ready to play for...
if they want diallo and roderick and have no transfers than they could take the walk-on route or send Roderick to prep school. It is more about the evaluation of Roderick as prospect rather than if they can fit him. If the staff wants him then we can make it work.
Oh I see, try earn a scholarship while he is on the roster. Would be a risky proposition given that he would be need someone to transfer or for the staff to take 0 in 2020 (assuming we take Diallo).
I applaud his gall if he goes through with that.
