That rating is off. It doesn't include every Amish boy who showed up at their neighbors with TV and dropped by for a "random" visit around noon Sat. I think I had about 75 of them myself.
Do we have any members who were college O linemen? Would be interested to hear your opinions about scUM fans' allegations of rampant holding.
I watched the game again, looking for it on both teams, and thought it was one of the cleanest games I have ever seen in that respect. The only egregious...
McSorely is the next and latest McMoxie - except with real moxie. Guy has shown an uncanny ability to make plays with his feet and move the chains. He is going to give a lot of teams fits while he is there.
The following comments are a football opinion and should not be construed as an endorsement of that despicable school in the state to our east:
I think that team has gotten healthy and improved into a really fine football team since they lost to Pitt and got destroyed by scUM. They are playing...
I re-watched the game. There were some tough calls that went against scUM. The one that was a sure was the non-call on Conley for PI in the 2nd OT. He hooked him early. That brings a flag 8 out of 10 times. But here is the thing - there's no guarantee that scUM does anything with the ball after...
I admit that I said during the first half that I watched a couple of junior high teams look smoother in the passing game than Ohio St looked. But those jr hi teams weren't facing the TTUN defense.
I think JT is the least of 3 issues. For it to be productive, the passing game needs protection...
I don't think I'll pull thru. Funeral will probably be The or Wed. There will be food. Don't hit on my wife.
Harbaugh has become a whiner about officiating. I'm sure he has a nice fine coming which he lustily earned. I guess he couldn't blame Speight - who we couldn't have won without his help...
Didn't sleep well. I was watching HBO's "Ohio State vs. Michigan: The Rivalry" at 4 AM.
Turned on the news and found out Castro finally went to hell, and scUM fans have something in common with that old communist because they are about to experience hell on earth.
Go over to O-Zone and read Beanie Wells' and Jake Butt's essays. You have to follow a link. I don't think I've ever seen the rivalry wrapped up that succinctly. I hate TTUN as much as any Buckeye, but if you don't respect Jake, there's something seriously wrong with you. I won't be pulling...
I watched the BTN feature this morning on the 2006 game. Warm fuzzy memories - until they went into what happened to Ohio State the next game against Florida with that head coach I couldn't stand then - and love now - which confuses me a little, but that's usual.
Anyway, I realized something...
The key to this kind of emotional upheaval is to focus on positive action. In short, what can we do to positively affect the situation? We can focus on being fans of the highest character and best example to others. For example, we can ask ourselves how we can hate *ichigan more and spread...
At Harbaugh's presser a reporter said that Buckeye fans were divided whether he was crazy like a fox or just crazy, and asked for his reaction. He said, "I'm not crazy." Then added, "I'm sure that my personality will have zero impact on the game."
OK. I think his second sentence is true. Not...
Bob is awesome. Became a fairly successful high school coach - but the kind that eschewed fancy offense like using the forward pass, and considered running between the tackles on 3rd and 5 as real football - whether you got the 1st down or not. I always got the idea he was happy if the other...
I usually watched the game with my father but we lived in a "holler" with poor TV reception so we would go to the pastor's house in town. I'm generally talking about the late 60s thru late 70s. My dad watches football like most people watch golf and the pastor was a very controlled man. So I...
