Prime time.
The return of Braxton Miller notwithstanding, this game has been pumped up to bursting. It constitutes not only the start of the conference slate but also the first major (perceptible) challenge on the 2013 schedule. In a season with zero room for error, every play...

Am I crazy, or did this year's opener seem more satisfactory than last's? The 56-10 drubbing of Miami (OH) certainly wasn't foreshadowing of the troubles the 2012 Buckeyes were about to have--perhaps it was just the 0-3 score at the end of the first quarter that left a sour...
So, I dragged my feet on this, which is why it's going up 19 hours before kickoff. But in essence, it's just a good-faith effort to engage you, the good people of BP and Buckeye fans at large, in pointless discourse. There'll be more to come. Post-game stuff too. Because free time is for the one...

- Modestly priced

Apologies right up front--I will not be transcribing the nearly two hours of phone conversation I had with Giovanni Strassini this evening. That much audio equates to something like four hours of transcription work, and I'm super tired.
Apologies also for those of you (probably all of you)...
For continued developments, see the main thread.
Talk about a self-made man.
Four days ago, a simple question was posed to a small (but committed) community of Ohio State football fans.
Did anyone among them remember Giovanni Strassini?
Oddly enough, no one did. It was odd...
Writing an article about past clutch performances by players like Kenny Guiton--anyone have anything in the memory banks that applies?
Doesn't have to be a huge game statistically-speaking, of course. Stuff like Steve Bellisari in 1999 against UCLA.
All ideas appreciated.
I don't think anyone here would or could argue that on a better night, with more focused receivers, and with a couple more seconds here and there to throw the ball, Mallett would have pulled out a win from this mess.
You're not missing anything. You're absolutely right. All the butthurt about how this jewelry that belongs to them is somehow sacred and holy and mustn't be monetized...seriously--get over it. Just because you (fans) obsess over these baubles doesn't mean they do. Or even that they should.
