OSU is 11-1 when breaking the 70 point mark. The only loss was the meltdown at PSU.
OSU has won one game when scoring less than 70 points: 67-60 over UCLA.
70 seems like an important number for this team.
They handed the ball off to a RB six times against the Chiefs out of 57 plays. They dropped back to pass at least 41 times (attempts plus sacks), with some Lamar runs coming off dropbacks as well.
They led the NFL in rushing. To go with that game plan was insane. It's not like they were getting...
I get Campbell rolls the dice, but time and score matter. If you don't trust your kicker from 45 yards he shouldn't be on your roster.
That was a time to tie the game. Instead, he's up the pressure on his defense.
I'm disappointed Holtmann isn't working. He seems like a good guy and has gone out of his way to endear himself to OSU students.
But the on-court results are not acceptable. Barring a dramatic turn around this season OSU has to explore all options.
Reynolds dropped the 4th down pass, now he drops a 3rd down pass, and their special teams waste a good punt.
Looks like it's up to their defense to make a play or look out.
