    The former Presidents for usernames.

There's something wrong about equating Reagan to Penn State...PSU should only be paired with the worst of Presidents. Conversely I'm not sure I like tOSU being paired with Obama, kind of lame.

    Jay "LLLLL" Harbaugh (Tweet-Master/CAPS Enthusiast/Crayon Eater/Partridge Boy)

Fuckin' awesome  Where's LSUFreak when you need him? Should have a .gif from Smokey with Urban taking over as Burt and the Harbro's as the Justice family. Try as they may, they'll never catch the Bandit.

    Jay "LLLLL" Harbaugh (Tweet-Master/CAPS Enthusiast/Crayon Eater/Partridge Boy)

I like that his Twitter Bio says "New Tight End U" despite the fact they've had 1 TE taken in the Draft in the last 10 years and it was the 7th round. They also swung and missed on their top TE target for 2015.

Charlie Weis (ex-Kansas HC, ex-Fla OC, Notre Dame legend, UnDecided Schematic Advantage)

Certainly not surprising that he's given up on being a Head Coach, he certainly wasn't very good in that regard. Somewhat surprised he's given up on being a coordinator though. He certainly had a good run as Bellicheat's OC, and he helped turn the Chiefs from a 4 win team to a playoff team in...

Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

Just heard who tOSU's new OC will be in 3-5 years if Warriner gets his own gig: http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/story/notre-dame-fighting-irish-boise-state-broncos-mike-sanford-new-nd-oc-021115 Sounds like ND is hiring Boise State's Mike Sanford to coach QBs and OC. Guessing he'll be...

    Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

The statue will be back eventually, it's only a matter of time now. They've reduced all the sanctions, they reinstated the wins, and now their state government wants Emmert's head for even hitting them with penalties.

    USC Trojans (official thread)

I don't expect USC to resurrect the Cheatey Petey dynasty under Sark, but with the sanctions lifted I think the recruiting talent coming in alone will lift them back to a major player status that they haven't had in the last 5 years. Might take a year or two since depth isn't great still.

    Tony "Benedict" Alford (meh)

Gotta say, read a lot of reports and interviews with Tony since the move, and he's been nothing but classy with the way he's handled the move. He's shown that he was very committed to the kids he recruited while at ND and that it was hard to leave, but he's fully invested in his new position...

    Gym Hardblob, Recruiting Genius

While Harbaugh's turn around at Stanford is somewhat impressive, I'm sure it has nothing to do with the rumors of performance enhancing drugs that they were using during his time there...and I'm not talking about their cooling glove that was dubbed "better than steroids." Harbaugh's a decent...

    Tony "Benedict" Alford (meh)

Good article about the Alford move: http://notredame.scout.com/story/1511298-alford-takes-leap-of-faith?s=109 [EDIT] Went back, missed it, MD Buckeye already posted it :smash:

    Tony "Benedict" Alford (meh)

I think the move to tOSU was certainly a resume builder for Alford. It's been known for some time that Alford was interested in a head coaching role, he's been hoping that he would follow in the footsteps of Irish coordinators that landed HC gigs elsewhere. I'm sure when his alma mater passed...

Notre Dame Fighting Irish (official thread of bowl failures)

I think the Hoke rumor is still the one from last week. I'm not seeing any new information about Hoke coming to South Bend. When the rumor WAS going around, seems like a lot of Irish fans were okay with him coming on in a position coach role, like on the DL. I wasn't one of those...

    Tony "Benedict" Alford (meh)

Coach Alford is a good guy, if there was any program I would want him to go to it's certainly tOSU. I've seen some people here mention that he doesn't have a stellar resume when it comes to ND rushing yards a year, but you have to remember that Kelly is a pass first coach, or 50/50 at best...

Stan Drayton (Head Coach, Temple Owls)

I'm not sure how a situation like this can be avoided. Jobs will become available between January-March in the NFL, and good coaches almost always move up unless they're lifers. Sometimes the timing isn't great, but that doesn't change the fact coaches will be offered positions. ND lost their...

RB Michael Weber (New Jersey Generals)

I didn't expect such wisdom from Keyshawn Johnson. It stinks that Weber is upset, but you absolutely should commit to a the school and not the coach. Recruits are always going to build a rapport with their coach, but at the end of the day everyone has to do what's best for themselves and their...

Stan Drayton (Head Coach, Temple Owls)

If he was leaving for the same position within college football as a lateral move I would certainly be irked, but this will likely be a pay raise and a more high profile job for Drayton. Such is the nature of the beast when you're a damn good coach, better opportunities will present themselves...

Chris Clark (UCLA Signee; transfer to ???)

Yeah, he may stick around the college ranks, but people said Petey was done with the NFL during his time at USC as well. Looming suspensions can change things pretty quick, and Mora has certainly bent the rules while at UCLA. Just last month his Twitter was "hacked", and the heinous geeks that...

Brady "XLLL" Hoke (Head Coach San Diego State)

The scissor lift clause is optional now, since they removed them 5 years ago.

Chris Clark (UCLA Signee; transfer to ???)

I think he's going to be a good TE, but it's pretty unlikely he'll be beating out top WRs in yards and TDs. Michigan probably did dodge a bullet, Clark ate up what Mora was feeding him and he's shown a bit of the "me first" attitude. I think Mora will probably move on to the NFL before Clark...

Chris Clark (UCLA Signee; transfer to ???)

The handwritten letter was pretty good: http://www.barstoolsports.com/barstoolu/super-page/jay-harbaugh-keeping-up-the-good-family-name-handwrites-letter-to-chris-clark-with-lots-of-exclamation-points/ I like that Jay Harbaugh is already calling Michigan the new "Tight End U," but so far all...
