  1. 2022 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Common sense, don’t over complicate this. Lot of rich fans/boosters/etc will (and probably have been) pay recruits to come to their school so their team can win with no positive ROI benefit to a company that they own.
  2. 2022 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Well the issue here is this clearly is not evolving to be ‘Merica NIL from a business perspective as you position it, unless you include wins and losses on the payoff side of the ROI ledger. Not that I personally feel one way or the other how it should be, but I do think it’s reasonable to still...
  3. 2021 CFB Playoff Discussion

The games have been played, the speculating about whether the Bucks can make the playoffs is obviously done now.
  4. 2021 CFB Playoff Discussion

They would vote for Utah. I agree with the point though that opening it up to 12 actually INCREASES the odds that the most deserving team does not end up winning the whole thing. It's why I think the sweet spot is 6 with a home game for the first round (keeping as much value as possible on the...
  5. LB Marcus Freeman (HC Notre Dame, Constant Backtracker)

It wouldn’t be for a lateral. Not that I think its going to happen.
  6. 2021 CFB Playoff Discussion

I get the point you’re making here but that’s not how it works in this case. TWELVE teams, not including Ohio St. Utah, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest. Those three, and I would argue others, I’d think would have a less chance than OSU at both making the playoffs and in winning the whole thing if they...
  7. 2021 CFB Playoff Discussion

I agree with this but what I can’t figure out is my particular sports betting app has 12 teams you can still bet on to win the national championship and OSU isn’t even one of them. I guess it’s possible they just don’t know how to put them and are keeping them off the board for now.
  8. Valenti gold

This is exactly what it is, it’s the same reason he’s been picking against his own team most of the year.
  9. Sparty at tOSU, Nov 20th, 12 pm ET, ABC

Do we know if Nailor’s back? I can’t find anything confirming either way. He’s almost as good as Reed.
  10. QB Jack Miller (transfer to Florida)

I learned a very different alphabet when I was in school than you did.
  11. 2021 tOSU Defense

Nailer is not their best WR, Reed is. They have the best trio of skill position players in the conference outside of OSU by far.
  12. OC/WR Coach Brian Hartline (Official Thread)

Good question and framing. A few come to mind in my lifetime (Orlando Pace freshman year, AJ Hawk and crew, DBs from a few years ago), but this might be it. Will be interesting to see if they continue to be this dominant at the end of the year.
  13. DE Jaylahn (JT) Tuimoloau (Owner, Giant Erector Set, All B1G)

Exactly. I didn't think it sounded like he had an issue with being called JT, but was just pointing out that JT Tuimoloau is redundant with the "T". In my IMO.
  14. QB CJ Stroud (All B1G, 2022 B1G QB of the Year, All-American, NFL OROY, Houston Texans)

I think you mean 20:1? If not, point me to who took that bet.
  15. RB TreVeyon Henderson (Official Thread)

Not that there's anything wrong with that
  16. 2021 CFB Playoff Discussion

    Incorrect. SEC blew that chance.
  17. 2021 CFB Playoff Discussion

I think the end result is still expansion but just with a limit on teams per conference now being a much bigger sticking point. Non-SEC will be pushing for 3, SEC will be pushing for no limit, and it’ll land at either 3 or 4 depending on how much hard ball the non-SEC group is willing to play...
