    RB/WR/DB Demario McCall (Official Thread)

Agreed. I was actually highly impressed with DMC on that play. The receiver (Olave) was not wide open, like the Alabama receivers were. We had a player within 2 feet. Olave did not run by DMC, like he does most of the B1G. DMC was turned around looking for the ball, which is always...

Hopefully he enrolls, and hopefully he single handedly fixes the porous pass defense by applying more pass rush.

First of all, they sent the press to attack our QB on the sideline. Now, they are unleashing murderous spiders: https://www.foxnews.com/us/venomous-spiders-mediterranean-recluse-university-of-michigan-library-shutdown This is likely in revenge for claiming we sent our dogs after them in...

I agree with the NYT. In fact, I read the JNJ press release a couple times. And I will quote it here to keep myself honest and so that all yawls can tell me if I have gone crazy: 85% Effective Overall in Preventing Severe Disease and Demonstrated Complete Protection Against COVID-19 related...

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is too exciting for adults to discuss (CLOSED)

Right, if one knew in advance it would stay as a mild case, no way one would never want to take fluvoxamine. But one doesn't know until around day 8 thru 11, from what I have read. risks factors and age may inform the decision. In the observational study, if I recall, something like 60% of...

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is too exciting for adults to discuss (CLOSED)

Yup, exactly right. The gold standard of a triple blind, large, phase 3 trial does not currently exist. Suppose you have a doctor that treats corona all the time in hospitals and is a pulmonologist that sees all the bad cases. Suppose they talk to patient X and tells them based on science and...

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is too exciting for adults to discuss (CLOSED)

From what I have read, the medicine just happens to have anti-inflammatory properties. And from what I have read, the hospitalizations and deaths come when the lungs and blood vessels get inflamed. The designers of the medicine didn't set out to do it. It was just an empirical results.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is too exciting for adults to discuss (CLOSED)

Right. My thinking is to call my doctor as soon as I get covid. In the phase 2 study and in the phase 3 study, you only have to start taking the medicine until after you have the virus. That is soon enough. From what I have read, the key to corona happens around 8 days in, when it can take a...

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is too exciting for adults to discuss (CLOSED)

My personal plan for staying alive and out of the hospital if I get C19 is to down some fluvoxamine, a cheap generic anti-depressant approved a very long time ago that has ironic side effects of being just the anti inflammatory needed to fight the cytokine storm. It is supported by good results...

    2021 tOSU Defense

It is disappointing that our two most highly rated cornerbacks in the class of 2011 won't arrive till fall (Hancock CB 4 and Johnson CB 3), so there is less of a chance of a "Shawn Springs miracle fix". The secondary is going to have to grow organically. My lone, desperate hope for a miracle...

    Tony "Benedict" Alford (meh)

Which is the worst? 1. Redshirting cantguardmike as a sophomore while everyone complains about the lack of production from receivers 2. Not giving Sermon a true chance until the game in which he set the tOSU rushing record. 3. An unsympathetic teacher saying the Albert Einstein would "never...

Obviously, Day has been saving throws to the TEs for a game when he actually needs to do that to win. He has been lulling opposing defenses into not even covering the tight ends. Obviously.

Ok, I'll be a dreary downer. Inspirational yes. World class social distancing? It doesn't seem like it? This year's national championship could be decided by whomever can actually field a team. On the flip side, it appears that Penn State players just plain "quit" and decided not to play a...
