If I recall, last year Meyer was saying that "who would start at safety" may have been his biggest concern. Things can only improve from here. And hopefully, someone beats them out. For one year (only), this makes up for losing Battle. Hopefully, this sets a trend for others to stay also.

The smaller number of scholarships available in 2019 tends to imply that tOSU will have a relatively experienced and veteran team in 2019. My take is that the only way forward in recruiting is for Ryan Day to have a great year in 2019, a team which is "consistent".

However it comes out, I take solace that the Buckeyes left it all on the field on Nov 24th, and as we all know, exposed the so called number 1 defense. Whatever happens, will happen, but I feel proud that the Buckeyes laid it all out for this recruit.
