Well coming off a national championship and losing both top elite OL and the best WR in the state. Actually the final 3 of the top 10 are probably favoring us. The Ohio getting away from us comment might be a little extreme but hate losing out on 2 of the top 3 and one of the better receivers...
Honestly this is the only time I can remember disagreeing with the staff over an in state player. 6'3" frames that can run like that don't come out of Ohio often. His film shows great seperation and high pointing the ball on offense, and he shows elite ball tracking skills and closing speed as...
There are underneath routes its just Cardale looks for the big play more than the other QB's. JT doesn't look for the deep ball often and focuses on open recievers and getting the ball out quickly and letting the recievers make YACs. Cardale was definitely off during the spring game and...
Honestly I wasn't that impressed with his output at all in the spring game. There was no pressure to perform and no fear of getting hit. His accuracy should have been much better. His deep ball has always looked effortless. Our secondary is pretty lethal but i'm still more impressed with...
It's not fiction. Pecking order currently is Guarantano, Wallace then hopefully Haskins. I don't know how Haskins has fallen down so far, the kid can spin better than anyone I've seen on film in awhile. Doesn't mean they won't accept the commitment of Wallace, they just think that...
Omg can you say, TRUCKED At the 0:56 second point. I think the BUS is back. LenWhale White is making another go around in college. Pretty fast for 245 lbs.
I'd hate to trend away from such a talented kid at this point especially with the jones knee tear. Our luck hasn't been too good with ACL's if that's what it truly is. I love Robertson's talent but it maybe a telling sign on King at the moment. Hope this kid fits in but if not all the best to...
It's a tough call turning such talented DE's away, I think the staff should really sell the versatility card to the recruits and just have mickey transform their bodies where they can move around to multiple DL positions. Nailing down 5 elite DE's in one class would be really tough with other...
I think the DEs, last H-Back, 1st 2 WRs, 1st LB, 2nd OL are easy to see right now. The numbers beyond those 15 guys are hard to predict at this stage and honestly we haven't seen the guys emerge like landers or berry. Sweat never tipped his hat in OSU's direction, he was there to watch VT and...
Honestly it's a little late to do predictions as most of the guys have already tipped their hand as to where they are leaning or could be silent verbals. There's only really questions on who's the 3rd reciever, 2nd LB, 3rd OL, the DTs and DB's although I do think Rene could be leaning our way...
HUGE! The dominos are just starting to fall, this class is going to start gaining some serious momentum. This DE class is going to be unreal, so many great talents still on the board, Bosa, King, Barrow and Robertson.
Cardale wasn't raw as a passer in high school, his arm strength and mechanics are actually advanced coming out of hs. It's the footwork, reading of defenses and maturity were lacking. Pryor was extremely behind in all facets of passing coming out of hs.
I think layne and Mack are in, the 3rd reciever is a tough call at this point but they're going after a big fish here. Wonder if Drayton leaving affects Robertson, I wonder what the DE number ends up being with so much talent out there. DT and DB are tough to project at this point other than...
I think this class will be Meyer's best at OSU, the amount of interest from the top 250 is the highest I can remember. This RB class will be the best collectively that OSU has ever had. The TE, DE and WR classes will all be unreal as well. How the staff finishes does at DT and CB will...
He can run okay, but with how he distributes the ball he doesn't have to. I'd like to see more runs but his speed isn't awful, I mean he's not Gaurantano. His best run is at the 3:07 mark. After watching Guarantano's highlights again I'm swinging back in his favor because he still hasn't...
He's going to have the best OL and RB in the country not really concerned with how we'll run the ball. We want someone who distributes the ball and keeps the defense from being able to bring defenders in the box against the run.
Holy high pointing! Although his hs highlights aren't like 15 minutes long, I see a lot of AJ Green here. Catch radius is huge. Robotparty hit on all the major points. I've never seen a Mayer class with only big receivers in it but right now I see a 3 reciever class with no one shorter than...
Honestly the staff has a really tough call to make here. Guarantano's improvement was more noticeable than Haskins improvement from sophmore to junior year. I'm still leaning Haskins because he just has so many elite passing qualities at such a young age that it's just too hard to pass up...
