I was looking at your numbers and thought they were low, you actually short changed Elliot by 100 yds. Still a great 4 games regardless. My bad, my mental calculator broke.
I can't wait to see what next season has in store with an experienced offensive line. I remember for like the first half of the season our longest run was like 34 yds by either Barrett or Samuel, and now Elliot is busting off a 50 yarded every game. Next year with the potential of playing 15...
To add to your post he had the best one handed catch I've ever seen, including Beckham Jr. Was the replay booth closed, that ball didn't move. The epitome of what it means to be a buckeye receiver, selfless player who gives relentless effort on every play. Buckeye MVP hands down in this one.
How do you project them in terms of talent, and the staffs projected order? Landers is the only one I've seen recent film of and he looks extremely impressive in his senior year. Beckner has the highest ranking of the 4 and Gallimore and Wilkins are ranked pretty much the same. This looks to...
I honestly doubt that it's related to Washington. I doubt he rates in the top tier of DT's in the 2015 Draft and there has been no talk of him submitting for NFL scout imput or talk of scouting opinions. The extension of an offer is probably realted moreso to the need for depth and a recruit...
I'd have to re-watch to tell you where it was but it was a play where Gordon bounced it to the left. I was just shocked because it reminded me of silver bullet tackling (15-20 years ago) where the DBs were up making open field tackles around the LOS.
I want to see this guy in as one of our last few spots. After watching his impressive junior film I see him potentially being able to play 4 or 5 different positions based on which staff member fights the hardest for his skill set. Extremely versatile athlete ranked too low with great open...
One play really made me think Apple is coming of age in this game. Gordon got outside and don't know if apple got off his block clean but he was in the open field one on one with Gordon. Probably giving up 30 lbs, he stuck him right there in space on probably the best tackle I've seen all...
Honestly our WRs will be the deepest recieveing corps Bama has faced. Auburn had 2 great recievers that attacked the ball in the air (Coates and Williams). Bama has been susceptable to the deep ball because they are matched up in man coverage. Hopefully Dontre can get back to full strength...
He's a good receiver but not on their level yet. You know you're good when the game is on the line and the ball is thrown your way regardless of who is guarding you because no one can stop you.
Hopefully that Bama game didn't impress him too much because they could be the leader over Kentucky with a great visit. After watching that game it makes me realize that OSU needs to land some fast physical receivers that can take over games. In my opinion we haven't had one of those receivers...
Just checked out his video and can't believe how well he sheds blocks and how fast he is for his size. The LB future is looking bright and it looks like we are building quite a stockpile in regards to depth.
2 things you can't doubt are the fact he threw a 65 yd rope without any momentum built into his throw and the next highlight he shows great agility and elite open field speed. I'm really excited to see how he develops in the passing game and reading defenses. But his speed and arm strength are...
I evaluate the recruits beyond their star rankings. But the percentage of 5 star recruits in a given year that turn into good/great football players is still higher than the percentage of 3 stars that turn into good /great football players.
Honestly he's too good to pass up. You're right with the projected spots left, but what the heck lets take them all. O'dell Beckham Jr. is taking over this Sunday night football game with one of th best catches I've ever seen.
I didn't say the last person offered, I said he was the last commit in the 02 class, but then again there are my words being spun again. He was the last recruit to COMMIT in the 02 class, which he was. I was just using him as an example as a 3 star who played like a 5 star. I know rankings are...
Well if we take 3-4 more guys then we are 7 or 8 over. Don't see your point again. In my opinion we reached for guys early and would have enough room had we not taken those guys which I'm not going to name. And that's my opinion, i just want to get the best class every year because I want...
