Reminds me of Beanie how quickly he accelerates and squares his shoulders to go north and south. No wasted motion or time dancing around at the LOS, except to evade the one defender that flashes into the backfield. Tavion in this class and potentially this kid in 2019... Me likey.
Exactly what i was thinking. The more accurate description of Florida's chances here is "plan B" as opposed to a real threat to flip the kid. But good job by the author tryna drum up drama and false hope for the gator fanbase.
Burgess had a juvenile warrant sitting downtown going into his last game at The Shoe. 2006 I think? That warrant vanishing was the only victory he had that day.
The author is reading between the lines in his assumption that it's dead even between OSU and the Noles, but the kid isn't quoted anywhere in the article explicitly saying it himself. He only hints at it being close. I think if the staff can blow the family away next visit he commits to the good...
Waiting to offer a couple months after a good camp I don't think would be considered early. You and I are on the same page on this. Being an in-state kid you run that risk with the early offer. And we're in on some great OOS kids. I'm saying in general I hope we have room and he earns an offer.
I guess the sliver lining in all this is that despite not being able to reel in a coveted giant DT yet, they've still produced excellent D-lines that have been able to control the opposing teams O-line more often than not, and they're still undefeated against scUM. On to 2018...
Some kids commit to a school to win. Others for the chance to be The Man. It's all about priorities, and now we all know where his lie. Pity he's entrusting his career to an alcoholic. Talk about misguided. Good luck to the kid.
My thoughts exactly. Unless he planted something in the kid's mind before it started. Either way, I'm not putting my career in the hands of an alcoholic.
