We’re allegedly in his top three with Utah and aTm. I think those are the others. Utah for sure. Has to be weird for ttun for that information to come out on the eve of his visit to their campus lol I’d like few things more than to steal yet another recruit from under their nose.
Click-baitiest of all sports related click-bait articles I’ve ever seen. He starts out acting like ttun and Oregon are smashing OSU in recruiting, only to remind us at the end of the article that OSU actually has a more impressive class to have 23 commits. The funniest part is I’m sure their...
I do think Eliano may be at least partially to blame here. Early on in his recruitment while Eliano was still the safeties coach, McNutt put it out there that he wasn’t hearing from OSU much at all. If you don’t make some of these kids an absolute priority from day one you’re stuck behind the...
“when the real football is played…”
It cracks me up how these guys are always talking outta both sides of their mouths when they have an agenda. One kid dominates the most hyped up annual QB competition while the other sits at home. But how many times have we seen a kid’s ranking suffer bcuz he...
Two OL coaches in a row that struggle in recruiting in some shape or other. Whether it’s not casting a wide enough net, not keeping in touch with recruits, an inability to close, etc. Looking forward to the day OSU gets a Hartline or OG Walt-type OL coach.
Yeah I love how they conveniently leave out pertinent information like “may not academically qualify at OSU” in these articles. You don’t wanna throw the kid under the bus but at the same time let’s not pretend that him looking around isn’t bcuz he actually may need a backup plan due to academics.
Seriously. They should rename them spoiler alerts. They’re spoiling the kid’s moment by giving away what they’ve gathered at the 11th hour and calling it a prediction.
I agree with you and buckeyemania. I’m sure bama fans are all a-Twitter right now over beating out OSU for Hill (I don’t have an X account). But what OSU has done in their state this year is far more impressive and impactful. Especially being positions of need for OSU right now. I’ll take that...
I’d feel confident in saying never lol But it also feels like Bama has lost multiple top 10 kids out of state in one cycle more often than OSU. Without googling any of this of course. I’m probably completely wrong. My original point was focusing on how often it happens to OSU.
Hopefully he gets the Trey Depriest treatment every time OSU plays Bama in the CFP. Which actually may not be often if Deboer doesn’t live up to the hype.
Based on what somebody “close” to his recruitment has been posting over on 11W, there’s been a lot of deliberate misdirection in this recruitment. So I have no doubt people in his camp were surprised. I agree with you. Do everything necessary to keep Offord and Sanchez in the class and they’ll...
He backed out of his silent commitment to OSU twice. The second and final time he went for the biggest bag at the 11th hour. None of the Oregon insiders had them as the pick. Recently one of their guys even went on a frustrated rant, basically saying Brew would be a fool to go be CB3 at OSU when...
After dreaming up that hypocritical hashtag, transformational not transactional, as a way to minimize OSU’s success in the portal should disqualify them from ever using NIL to recruit. Make them prove it’s all culture that’s responsible for their recent successes as a program. Eff *ichigan
I was thinking about this in regards to Ohio kids leaving the state more often now. I think OSU will still have their pick of the litter, especially now that their NIL has improved. But other B1G schools who traditionally got our leftovers may not enjoy that benefit much longer. But the biggest...
