until wiggins signs im still leaning towards them getting kevin love...either way this is putting them in a postion to make some serious moves here pretty soon
Windhorst reporting cavs close to signing wiggins

Question #2 is harder to answer because he hasn't made it really known who he would like to play for...so based on the other criteria I still think the Warriors would be a destination....Lakers and Phoenix
Interesting wiggins still hasn't signed a contract with the cavs yet..Once he signs he cannot be traded for 30 days....If the cavs were not shopping him for Love then I think he would be signed already...not like NFL or MLB when it comes to offering contracts
I'm in this boat...we can argue all day about keeping or trading wiggins and I can see both sides...i would prefer to trade wiggins now instead of banking on what he could potentially be in the future...If lebron signed a 5 year deal my opinion would be different...regardless of what he says...
he plays in the west and has had a terrible supporting cast with him...since hes has been on that team the best picks that team has made have been rubio and pekovic...they traded oj mayo, ty lawson and derek williams...the fact they have not been the worst team in the west every single year is...
so to be a franchise player you have to play defense? to me a franchise player is someone you build a franchise around...hence the term franchise....steph curry i would consider a franchise player...doesnt play great defense...kyrie irving? same...Kevin Durant, lebron, chris paul, kevin love...
Hes getting traded before that happens...No way Minnesota gets into the offseason with him still on their roster...I am all for waiting until mid season, ive said i would prefer that to happen...but ive come to the realization that this team we have now is not beating the bulls in the playoffs...
was hoping to get him or allen...still could possibly get both...not sure how much cap room we have left but we still need some sort of backup center besides haywood
Of course everyone in the orgainization has said they aren't trading Wiggins...why would they not...not that I think we make a trade for him right now, but hes not under contract yet making him very easy to move...also it may depend on what LBJ wants or says...hes never been a huge personal guy...
My thing with Kevin Love is this. We do not want the same thing to happen as it did when Lebron first played with the cavs for 7 years. We always tried to find his side kick with Mo williams and larry hughes. We need to get him some sure fire talent. Kevin Love is exactly that. But you do...
Keep in mind Tristan Thompson's agent is also Rich Paul...i doubt he gets traded...also someone on RCF posted this which is also interesting:
I've posted this half a hundred times, but it keeps becoming relevant again. Now, let's assume the report is true, AND let's assume Lebron would actually...
Even tho its only summer league with pretty weak competition, Bennett has looked pretty damn good...putting up full stat lines and hustling up and down the court....Wiggins looks better on defense then offense right now which is not concerning...will be interesting to see what happens to...
