    Premier League (Official Thread)

It has little to do with money. Look at AC Milan, Chelsea, Real Madrid. Teams that have huge budgets, and make poor decisions. Look at teams in other sports, NY Knicks, NY Rangers, Washington Redskins, Baltimore Orioles and so many others. Huge payrolls and poor onfield performance. The...

    Premier League (Official Thread)

Bundesliga was tops a decade ago. Now there best team might make it out of the CL group stages. 2nd tier football now. The Eredivisie is fine if you want to see who the big clubs in Europe will be buying next, but there are really only 4 teams worth even looking at. La Liga just like Serie A are...

    Premier League (Official Thread)

Stevie G did his best, but this is a team sport. The rest of the lads took the day off and mailed it in. Keane sat the pine as the most odd manager used some more of his odd managerial techniques to put a team of lifeless kids out there. I thought Stevie G deserved more than that from the rest...

    Premier League (Official Thread)

Zenit is just trying to get maximum return for him. Man City will be involved in any and all protracted transfers. They will overpay just to build a disfunctional squad like Tottenham. Arashavin is overrated in my opinion. Mauro Zarate is a great young player. 30 million is far overvaluing him...

    Premier League (Official Thread)

The whole Arashavin saga might involve Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal. Most likely it will all wind up being alot of smoke and little to no fire. Zenit is pissed off that Prem teams are lining up offers for him and they don't want to sell. He wants to leave Zenit, simply to play in a real league and...

    Premier League (Official Thread)

I expect United to come out looking much better than their dreadful showing at Pride Park. That was one awful performance against Derby. I fully expect United to beat Chelsea and close to 1 point behind with 2 in hand. I think United paly one of those games this upcoming Wednesday so God...

    Columbus Blue Jackets (Official Thread)

I would be happy if that were the case but I think the Pascal will need to play 40% of the games for this team to be sucessful. Pazzy needs to get in shape so Mason can be placed in a position to be sucessful. It seems that most elite teams have 2 goaltenders that can both play.

    UEFA Champions League (Official Thread)

Well right now they have an identical goal difference. If Celtic were to win against Villireal and United beat Ablborg, Celtic could move level on points and have a better goal difference thus taking the 3rd spot in the group. Same reason United is in first place in the group while being level...

    UEFA Champions League (Official Thread)

Celtic are just snake-bitten on the road. They don't travel well because they rarely have to travel. The only thing they can hope for is Villireal to rest everybody and hope United stomp Aalborg at Old Trafford. It doesn't look very good for them making the drop to the Uefa Cup. Hold out hope...

And just like that Chelsea lose at home. Good day for me. Now I just have to hope West Ham have some fight in them.

Which program is in a worse position?

I would have to say that Notre Dame is in a worse position. After 4 years Notre Dame under Charlie has done nothing but get worse. They recruit good talent and they play a laughable schedule and still suck. I think RichRod after 4 years will at least be fielding a competitive team where as...

Gettin' serious bout some HOT WINGS

I would have to agree with jwins on this one. The Winking Lizard has some great wings especially for $.40 on Monday and Tuesdays. Roosters are my favorite wing. And if I must get wings somewhere else, it doesn't matter cause they are all about the same. I go to the Lizard every Monday and...

Well Celtic fans, you fought hard at home just like I thought you would. Hope you all can pull out the UEFA parachutte and not crash out of European competition competely. I was looking forward to seeing the United youth squad for the last 2 rounds. Oh well, still no doubts that we are of to the...

    UEFA Champions League (Official Thread)

I look forward to that day. I think we owe you one up there. That is unless Sir Alex takes it easy on ya again by fielding the reserve team for that match. At least you can look forward to the UEFA Cup. Aalborg is all but out, alltogether.

I agree with you. At worst wayne Rooney should have the only goal and this has been a much more entertaining match than I had thought it would be.

Okay this is getting to be a bit crazy. Did United get an exemption for the offside rules tonight. That makes 2 for Berbatov, both from what looked to be an offside position. I feel for you Celtic fans as this is turning into a farce.

    UEFA Champions League (Official Thread)

United have been rolling in the second halves of games lately. Not the place to play from behind, The Theater of Dreams. United dominated that half and deserved the lead. I just need some more clinical finishing in front of goal and I will have my prediction vindicated.

Well I can't help the fact the referee and his assistant are dumb and blind. But it counted and you have to play the cards the way they are dealt.

Celtic is 0-15 in Champions League away games. Please wait until they play at home to get all excited. The "attacking" options available to Gordon Strachan are well "Offensive". They have 1 senior striker healthy and he isn't all that good. My prediction 4-0 for the home side. Take me Home United!!!
