Love his potential. OSU hasn't been much of a blitzing team in the past few years, but it'd be hard not to put him in position to rush the passer...so I wonder if he'll be at LEO. Having this guy with Scott McVey would give you two very, very good rush LBs.
Well, everybody remembers how insanely anal retentive John Wooden was, right? Sometimes it's not enough to have the intelligence and vision to lead, but also the mental defects and illness required to lead with an iron fist of craziness.
Totally agree. The really shocking thing is that Wisconsin ran the ball 69% of the time. It's shocking, because anybody watching the game could tell that Wisconsin was stupid for even attempting to pass. They could have run the ball 75% or 80% of the time and still averaged better than 5 YPC...
Then Beilema is even stupider than I thought. If you can't stop them but can run the ball effectively, then you shorten the game and run it down their throats. Go high variance is the worst thing that you could do.
Wisconsin is just giving up on defense. They can't actually get close to anybody or risk getting flagged. Utterly terrible officiating. That's either two or three (lost count) times that awful PI calls have converted first downs for TCU.
More passing. When I think Wisconsin, I think passing.
Look guys, you're Wisconsin. Don't get clever. Just run the ball over, and over, and over. That's how you win.
Field goals are give up calls.
By the way, how did TCU "stop" Wisconsin?
1st down: fumbled snap
2nd down: RB slips on (apparently) shitty field
3rd down: 9 yard pass
Good job there, TCU.
