I think we match up well with the Big 12:
School 2008 home att.
Texas 98,046
Oklahoma 85,075
Nebraska 85,071
Texas A&M 82,193
Missouri 64,520
Texas Tech 53,625
Kansas 50,907
Colorado 49,476
Oklahoma St. 48,761
Iowa St. 47,429
Kansas St. 45,190
Baylor 34,124
I took a look at average Big Ten football attendance and I was surprised at how awful it is. Yes, the top 3 are always a good draw even in some of the world's largest stadiums, but there is a huge drop off after that. After you pass Wisconsin and Iowa on the list, you find out more than half...
I love our team and Boone. But did he really say that? So we think a National (meaning all D-1A teams) Championship (meaning the best two teams participate) Game is going to be easy?
C'mon guys :roll2:
Sorry if this has been said before but...
Our offense seems really vanilla compared to some other teams, (Beanie running, Todd passing to Robo or Hartline). Hopefully we can find some players that we can use as power fullbacks, speedy crossing-route runners, or something to change up our...
I noticed this during the Michigan game. I don't really see him throw many tight spirals, the ball comes out a little wobbly which has to be hard to catch.
If this isn't a NCAA violation (which it may be), can this be a contract violation?
This really sounds like the Joe McKnight story "sorry I misunderstood the Reggie Bush phone call" :roll2: Maybe RR didn't want TP to tell the world...
About that $4 MIL buyout...
If RR can't get out of it, will scUM pay the bill? I doubt they are going to be happy about that, plus I doubt that it is in the contract that RR hasn't(?) signed yet.
Here's some interesting quotes from Bob Stoops and their DC speaking about playing the same team twice, etc.:
Stoops said he didn't buy into the belief that it's more difficult for a team to beat an opponent a second time in the same season. When asked separately about the challenges presented...
I would give anything (except an OU win) to see Tennessee win this game, since that would mean the winner of the SEC got pounded by a lowly Pac-10 team.
