wstripes, I don't know how you do it, but you called it, again.
  2. '06 MN DT Walker Ashley (Minny...no, maybe USC......no, PSU...no, Minnesota commit)

I heard the same thing, and it might be that with Ekom Udofia back on the radar at DT, the coaches need to know something soon from Ashley. But, I think that Udofia would be red-shirting because of a very serious leg injury, so I don't know if this alternative would help the immediate needs...

Matt: Wallace, on the WeAreSc premium board, didn't say that tOSU was "eliminated". At the moment, repeat at the moment, and according to him, it looks as USC, PSU and tOSU, in that order. As usual, I would listen to wstripes up-dates. He knows what is going on with USC recruiting.
  4. The Bicycle Thief...

Yes, it's from the Vittorio De Sica movie. I saw it a long time ago, and it has remained one of my favorite through the years. Powerful movie which illustrated the poverty and resiliance of the people of Rome immediately after the war. And I did steal a few of them when I lived in Florence.
  5. Personal message to USCemper

Tibor, would that be this coming Tuesday?
  6. USC problems?

I always thought that this board was one of the classiest in the business. Your reaction to the news in Los Angeles confirms my initial impression.

I am glad you found something interesting. Grow up, stool.

Clarity: Personally, I think that the rep points and the "ding" threat is what is keeping the political debate pretty much in check. People think first before submitting an idea because they know they MIGHT be evaluated for their opinions and the way they are presented. When people have to...

Goofy: I was just trying to understand the logic of the banning. Bucknutty explained it. I was very surprised by what BB told you, since he never used vulgarity in his posts before. If he is re-instated, I'd be curious to find out what prompted him to act so offensively. I also find it...

bucknutty or 3yards: I'd like to understand this particular banning, if I may. Goofy dings BB over a difference of opinion and calls him an idiot. BB retaliates with an anonymous ding with the "putrid" remark. Is BB being banned because his remark was more vicious and offensive than the...
  11. USC, a winning tradition?

How did this thread start? It says that it was moved from the Justin King thread in the recruiting forum, but I don't see how Mili first post here correlates with the last one of the JK thread? Mili, I don't inderstand why you think that USC doesn't have a winning tradition. Did you mean ever...
  12. Tour de France update thread...

bkb: Simeoni is involved in a legal case where Dr. Ferrari (no relationship to the car), a gentleman who has assisted Lance with his preparation in the past, has been accused to dispensing banned drugs to cyclists. Simeoni has been deposed already and he had some choice words for Lance...
  13. What book are you currently reading, or recommend?

Just finished reading "The Falls", by Ian Rankin. Last week I read "Set in darkness", also by Ian Rankin. I just bought "Rubicon", by Steven Saylor and plan to read it over the week-end.

Mili: European Tour fans, and cycling fans in general for that matter, are commonly fans of other sports, such as soccer and basketball, for instance. You loathe the UM football team and its fans immensily, but other than the yelling and sporadic fist-fights, do not assasinate one-another...
  15. Tour de France update thread...

And a good discussion it has been, indeed. Lance desplayed a tremendous amount of class, and restrain, by not mentioning these offensive incidences during the post-race interview, other than saying..."the german fans, and what can I say"... I also saw other graphic signs, in French, painted...
