QB1 Julian Sayin (All B1G, B1G Frosh of Year, All American, National Frosh of Year, National Champion)

I’ve thought the same thing. Howard was good not great and then he was great. Just keep getting reps and gain trust in the whole WR room. Good things will happen.

Don’t think they can let it hang until Sayin sees the whole field. They had 2-3 chances at wide open TDs and he didn’t see it. I really like Sayin and he will continue to grow, but until that happens, defenses will get away with coverage busts and blitzing. If you can’t make them pay, you’re...

Yeah, it sounds like cope and probably is, but this game started much differently and then the execution degraded so quickly after HT. Even Jeremiah looked off. Lucky bounce or not, the first half offense was in control and getting ~4 ypc and Sayin looked comfortable. Then they’re missing...

WR Marvin Harrison, Jr. (Silver Football, 2x Unanimous All-American, 2023 Biletnikoff winner, Heisman Finalist, Arizona Cardinals)

Just don’t get it. They barely make an effort to get him involved.

WR Jeremiah Smith (All B1G, B1G Freshman of Year, B1G WR of Year, Unanimous All-American, 2025 Rose Bowl Off MVP, National Champion)

Great game, but I’m sure all he cares about is the drop and the loss. Keep THTGDB and better things will happen. Should hit the career yards record this weekend. Didn’t realize how close he was to the conference yardage record as well. OHIO STATE B10 YARDS 26 (2873) 745 TDs 6 (30) 10

Same as always, pro passing with a complimentary rushing attack. The 1st half was a great example of what they want to do. Take some shots, audible into runs when the defense gives you a light box, RPOs. Yards and TDs were there in the 2nd half. Need to learn from mistakes and get better...

I’m very interested in seeing how they play against a top team in less than 100 degree weather.

I like the kid. Nailed a 48 yarder that would’ve been good from 55 and missed another. It’s going to happen. Gives them a much better chance with 40 and 50 yarders.

I was more talking about a moment when the season was on a knife’s edge and could either collapse or gain momentum. But fair enough.

Not saying to ignore it, but it’s worth waiting to see how they respond to start B10 play.

Am I the only one who doesn’t give a shit what he tells the sideline reporters? It’s Tresselspeak.

There will be a moment like ‘24 PSU where they went down 10-0 on the road and we’ll see what they’re made of. One thing about Day is that his teams don’t fall apart like that. I think you’re starting to drive yourself crazy with disaster scenarios. Everything could fall apart, but it hasn’t...

You make a lot of good points. Didn't mean to come off as blindly optimistic. I’d say ‘24, ‘17, and ‘14 are the seasons where clear issues got resolved. Tressel had the most transformative teams, but the least talent. Day’s made a lot of positive changes in his 8 years, but it’s closer to...

Yeah, pretty much. The manner of the loss was terrible, but it’s so early in the season. The team’s going to look a lot different in 4 games. They rotated more last night than in most MAC games, and they had to due to heat, but it did them no favors. The starting 3 WRs will be playing most of...
