Did not anticipate Howard and Leonard to be drafted close together. Leonard is more Taysom Hill than NFL QB. Only reason he got going against OSU was unnecessary blitzing when all they could do get back in the game was hit chunk passing plays.
Maybe, but they dropped off a cliff in '20. It can't be understated how much the cheating saved them post-COVID. They were heading for sub .500 seasons, coaching changes, etc.
IMO, they'll always be a cockroach needing to be stamped out, the cheating just allowed them to pretend to be elite...
This has to be one of the dumbest takes. They're certainly less of a sure thing than last season, but the offense has a significantly higher ceiling due to Sayin, OL depth, and a matchup nightmare in Klare. The defensive back 7 will be elite and they only need a few rotational DT to shore up...
2-4 first round picks were always the expectation for them, although Grant and Loveland were taken 10 spots too soon. It's only jarring because their team was a dysfunctional mess for most of the season.
It's close to over now. The program is held together by the dying momentum built up while...
Bengals could’ve had a number of other good players rather than reaching for an athletic freak that played like a rotation guy in college. I don’t get it.
Hoping Thurman stays patient. He may never pop off in college, but he has the abilities to play in the NFL for a decade. Just keep working on aggression and hands.
My hope is that coming off an NC, they’re looser with the rotations, although I think last year was better as it went on. Inniss and Rodgers saw more time. No reason not to play 5 guys in a lot of snaps.
I guess a team could drop a bag in the portal, but something tells me he’s going to be rotating 50/50 with Inniss and pushing him all year. And I imagine we’ll be seeing more passing attempts, too.
Yeah feels like a mixture. Deep interior OL after all the injuries last year combined with 2 more true tackles and Siereveld now being a swing guy. DL hasn’t found depth yet. Will be the biggest issue with the D.
Sayin processes and flicks the ball around so quickly. It looks effortless. Still a lot of time for competition, but hard not to be excited with what I’m seeing from him.
Ann Arbor is already a superfund site, and this genius wants to add to the mess. He read ‘The Radium Girls’ and thought “We have to bring that stuff back!”.
They were prototypical Harbaugh teams, just like the 2015-2016, 2018 squads. Arguably more talent. But the cheating kept them from violently shitting themselves until the playoffs. It’ll never not be hilarious that they had to cheat in most egregious way possible just to win their own division...
Yeah I’m hoping not either. Ewers rushed into college and it threw off his development to the point that he might drop to the 3rd.
I cant fault people for wanting their money, especially if they’re in tough situations, but talented QBs desperately need natural growth and as many practice and...
This was good and bad. Like many successful coaches, Meyer could be an asshole and a psycho. Saban gets love due to being the goat and a persona he crafted, but was just as much of an asshole and psycho. He ran a dirty program that was never scrutinized to the degree that OSU/Meyer was, and...
