Zwick vs. Smith (official thread)

Hey, what if we did like they do in the Little League World Series and just used Pro players... I bet we could pass Ray Lewis off as Schlegal at MLB for example, those two could be twins....

Vick at QB
LaDanien at TB.....

Man, against college competition? We'd be unstoppable!!!!

What about Shane Falco? Is he still around? (even though he did blow the big game).
He played professional ball for part of a year, he's unavailable....unless

Shane Falco did look a lot like Troy Smith, plus he's got heart. I'd rather have him than Vick.

I just drew up some triple option plays for fun and I'm pretty sure the it would be unstopable if run correctly. The speed of Smith, Pittman, and Ginn would force defenses to put extra guys in the box, which would open up Holmes and Gonzo with man coverage with no deep help.
:osu: Put 'em in, what the hell...I'll be pulling for the Bucks, no matter what they run...just win baby! If somebody can come up with some offensive plays that require little execution, to score points for the Bucks - that would be the ticket.....

Has OSU produced much talent in the NFL for the offensive side of the ball during Tressel's tenure? The only success that comes to mind is defensive players making an impact in the NFL. A couple of offensive linemen are out there but i cant think of many skilled position players outside of Michael Jenkins who get regular starts on their team.

I posted this before and I think it is still relavent.

Just to put a thought out there, but since when is it the job of tOSU to get these guys into the NFL.. I know that it is a goal of many players, but the the job of the university is to enable these KIDS to get an education at no expense to them. they run the risk of not completing thier degree and having to pay the remainder out of pocket if the dont make it in the NFL ( I dont know the percentage but I bet it isnt good even for those who are drafted). I dont really feel sorry for guys who leave early for the "Big Money" but end up failing.

On a separate note I think when they rework the Collective Bargaining agreement, Rookie salarys need to be dramatically reduced. Would a player be less likely to quit college for the NFL knowing thier max salary was say 1 Mil. a year. The NBA does pretty well and they have set salaries for where you are drafted (Im pretty dure) Players sign much quicker and dont hold out.

Look at KWII and the waste he has been to my Browns! He was the highest paid TE in the NFL BEFORE even playing a down. Theres something wrong with this picture if you ask me.
