Zbikowski and Boxing (Merged)

Helluva victory for ND. Glad that this gets the "sour taste out of our mouths" according to Quinn. :shake:

Hey, if ya can't beat 'em, pay guys under the table to dress up so they look like 'em than beat those guys. Maybe we should have Coltsfan16 send the Domers some Buckeye figurines so they can stick pins in 'em or blow 'em up with firecrackers or something.

The actual quote from Quinn would be annoying if it were not so downright moronic
LINK - Chicago Tribune
Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn said he and the rest of the team would take inspiration from Zbikowski's fight onto the football field. "Winning this fight erase any memories of the Fiesta Bowl (loss to Ohio State). Bell wearing that jersey made it all the sweeter for us."

everyone needs to lighten up.

this board used to be pure fun.

if your not a politician you don't have to be politically correct.

roll with the punches NDC and give it back when you can.

you did nothing to deserve it at all. you were just a convenient whipping boy. the joke is just funnier when you put it to a person.

relish your role on the board. learn from tibor.

Zbikowski will be fighting again, to raise money for charity.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) -- Notre Dame safety Tom Zbikowski hopes to raise $50,000 for charities in an exhibition boxing match next week, his father said Monday.

Zbikowski, a third-team All-America, plans to hold an exhibition match March 6 at the Century Center in downtown South Bend, about 3 miles from campus. Ed Zbikowski said the goal, aside from raising money, is to give Zbikowski a chance to showcase his boxing skills after he won his professional debut at Madison Square Garden against Robert Bell last June in just 49 seconds.

Cont'd ...
